Great lunch experience right next to Dole Park in Lanai City. Several vegetarian friendly items on the menu. My wife had the veggie wrap with feta, while I had swiss, with avocado, tomato, lettuce & onion on a toasted baguette. (Both were very good with extra fresh ingredients) We both started with garden salads; the lettuce was so fresh it tasted as if it had been picked seconds before we arrived. The staff was friendly, outdoor seating was abundant. We really enjoyed our lunches.

So happy to find Pele's, another excellent part of our wonderful day in Lanai. Lots of vegetarian options (not easy to find in Hawaii) and Barbara is flexible in altering menu items. Great that they take reservations and also advance ordering so your visit to Lanai can include many stops (cat sanctuary is heavenly). Had a super fresh salad and veggie wrap. Enjoyed comfortable outdoor seating.

Pele le pew! We were appaled by the way we were treated here not just once but twice! After the second time i am guessing it was mangement or owners sincecthe rest if the staff has always been over the top great with customer service. The first time we came in hoping for some lava flows, brushetta (which is amazing) and pasta. We were told they had reservations and could not accommodate the 2 of us. The place was completely empty. We were able to place a takeout order and told we could not even order a drink while we waited in their empty resteraunt for our order. So we went to Richard's for some drinks and picked up our take out in an again empty restaurant. To top this off, two days later, with a couple more guests, we walked in to find maybe a total of 4 people. The same not so pleasant lady greeted us by saying "takeout only." I asked if it was full menu and a lovely waitress said yes only to be shut down by the angry gueseppo of an owner, manager or other who would like to be that. I never felt more discriminated against in my life. I was angry but now I just feel bad for all the other great people who make this little place so good. It's too bad one negative soul could turn away so many good ones!

We stopped in for lunch and the service was great and so was the food and they have lots of beer on tap. They have a nice patio area with shade as well.

The owner so welcoming and helpful when i ask to cater a event I had for work. The food was good and co-worker liked food too. I had to stop in before I've leave for New York for and sandwich and it was great. ;)

Small place with pretty decent food. Overpriced food and the service was really slow. If you are in Lanai City there are other options but again, the food was decent so if you are not in a hurry, stop in.

There are only a few restaurants on Lanai, so unfortunately options are limited, this was the only dining option open at the time. this is an Italian restaurant, we asked for Parmesan cheese on the side and got scolded for asking for 2 portions, if it was listed as extra, I would’ve happily paid, but to be yelled at was unacceptable in my opinion, and I’m not a Karen. The lady said “now we know better to give out 4 oz of expensive cheese because sharing is the point” ?

I went to Lana'i with the goal of eating at all the local restaurants during my 3 days on the island. I ended up only eating at two of the local eateries and I went to Pele's Other Garden THREE times. It was a combination of their selection, quality and friendliness that kept me coming back. From their sandwiches at lunch time to their pastas and pizzas at night, I enjoyed everything I ate there. My best meal there last month started with the Bruschetta and Caesar salad, followed by the amazing Toad Pizza, and ending with the Creme Brulee Cheesecake. Make sure to share the pizzas if you get the bigger size!
