We were hungry after coming down from Haleakala and decided to try this place out. The food was absolutely delicious. It's located in an interesting development along with other food trucks. I don't want to ding them stars because they don't deserve it, but will say that the seating area is in a hot gravel area in the middle of all of the food trucks. This is a food truck in a parking area with about a dozen other food trucks. We had a late lunch and both had the fish and chips. The fresh fish of the day was mahi mahi. It was cooked well but didn't really have any seasoning. I did like the tartar sauce. The fries were homemade and good. The coleslaw was pretty good, too. There are no porta-potties, and unfortunately, the shared picnic tables were pretty sticky and gross.

I grew up In the florida keys and have been here on Maui for 7 years.
Never in my LIFE have I had a better fish sandwich then here at Da Fish Shack.
Had the Cajun Ono Burger and basically inhaled the entire thing, in my car because I simply could not wait till I got home. It smelled so good and tasted even better and the fish was 100% fresh and local.
Typing this from the car In the parking lot…
I almost just ran back over to say this in person...
