Drove out today only to be today no tours or tasting but could buy something from their pineapple farm shop. I drove out because it shows they are open. They said they aren’t doing tastings due to remodeling. Last week, I emailed and they replied they were working on their schedule.
I’d suggest another distillery instead of this one. We are now heading to Ocean and the Agave since this one is closed.
Will not be returning. Sorry excuse for a distillery…. Guy at the check-in table with glasses had a horrible attitude, was completely unwilling to help, and quite frankly didn’t care one bit. If customer service is your prerogative, avoid this place like the plague.
Excellent spirits. Most important though, our tour guide Ella was *incredible*. Super knowledgeable and approachable. Big shout out to her for a wonderful experience!
I received this paniolo as a souvenir. It was very delicious and I was very impressed.
I will definitely stop by when I go to Maui ?
This place offers a really great and informative tour. It is a fun and educational way to spend an afternoon that ends with a tasting of three of their four liquors - whiskey, rum, gin and vodka.
Our guide was personable, knowledgeable and easy to interact with. She did a great job of keeping things moving while also keeping things interesting.
After the tour we did a tasting that was well organized in a nice clean environment.
The glass-blowing shop next door was just a bonus - it was free to walk around in and see some really cool fixtures and how they are made!!
We experienced a very detailed tour regarding the distilling process and taste profile for each of the four spirits. You are allowed to have 3 pours with the tasting in which many try the gin, whiskey, and rum. If you do try the vodka, though, you may be pleasantly surprised at the hint of sweet that remains from the pineapple mash. Cheers and Mahalo, Hali'imaile!

We visited today for the tour at 12:30pm, the girl running the tour asked my mother if she had a bracelet, even though she was clearly wearing it, almost as if she didn’t belong there. When I made a comment to her about something, she just didn’t have the best attitude. Maybe needs training as to how to handle people from diverse backgrounds. Likely better to hire different people to alternate the tours as she also mentioned she was not in the best state after doing 4 back to back tours today. Wouldn’t repeat the experience, not good value even without these issues.
The tour was ok. However the girl giving the tour was i believe talking too fast and her mic was acting up. It was really hard to hear and understand her. She was very friendly and upbeat we just couldn't understand her. The tasting was less than great However we normally drink these liquors with mixer so it was hard to determine how good they were
We love doing distillery tours and tastings. This tour/tasting is worth a stop.I have had the Pau vodka before. I wanted to see what else they produce. They do a gin that you must take home. I'm not a gin drinker, but loved it. The Whiskey is a Heaven Hill KY product that they bring to the island and put a special spin on it. It's a young whiskey but priced right. The rum (Wahina) is what we purchased to take home. Also priced right. Our tour guide (Sorry, i forgot her name, if your boss reads this, shes the one who went to Boston University) (She needs a trip to Heven Hill to do research) She was knowledgeable, and like all of the locals, very welcoming.Visit Maui, visit this distillery. And while you are at it, go over to the glass making place next door while waiting for your tour. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the gallery is spectacular. Watch them blow glass from the upstairs loft.

Blonde lady at desk was very rude and condescending to my grandfather. She should be fired. We were extremely surprised to hear that we aren’t allowed to taste or buy anything from the distillery without spending 75$ per person on the farm tour. That’s a horrendous and malicious business model. We heard amazing things about the whiskey and was the sole reason we wanted to stop by. If you want to take a pineapple home after the tour it costs 10$ so avoid that and grab one for 3$ at Costco. We will never be coming back and you should not spend any money here.
Very informative and some of the sweetest people we have met on the island this far! Thank you Nikki you Rock!
Was a great time and very informative.
The tour was great, our tour guide was exceptional! This distillery is super cool and uses local products, including pineapple in their distilling process. We enjoyed the vodka the most out of all the tasting, but all the products were unique and delicious!
Great experience.
