Very local style, casual, comfortable atmosphere. THE BEST AHI EVER!!! Sashimi (maguro) was so fresh and tender - 2 Rios in a row now! Salad is super fresh too. Outstanding!

Chill spot, great service. Sushi was okay. Bummed they don’t serve alcohol.

Very very expensive sushi... and not good taste and very small size 😞
I'm from Oahu, and I am disappointed

Sushi upcountry! Fast service and large menu. BYOB or Sake! Chirashi special worth every penny. Don’t forget about the miso soup, PERFECTION!

Nice little spot upcountry. Crab ragoon roll had too much cream cheese for my tastes. Over powered the rest of the flavors. Everything else was good.

Place to go to have a good time with your friends, partner or family.
The facilities are a little insufficient for the number of clients they have, the decoration is a little outdated for the time.
The service from the staff is normal and nothing to highlight. Foods in question are quality, flavor and texture. They leave a lot to be desired, some do not have a great flavor on the palate, they lack flavor or are dry, for the price they are not worth it.
I don't recommend it at all, they can improve a lot. There are better options on the island

Since my last visit, food is good and moderately priced compared to other sushi places. Convenient location upcountry. Service is now better. Sushi chefs not so friendly like the former owner who welcomed every customer. If you request for so.ething customized, you feel like you are imposing even if you are willing to pay for it
Nothing outstanding on the menu that sticks out..

Let’s give them a break. I’m from Oahu but now live in Japan for over 14 years. You can say that I am a little biased because I live in the motherland of Japanese food. Unfortunately I can’t give any good marks for this restaurant as it has failed to win my approval due to the food quality and taste and from beginning to end the customer service was unsatisfactory. But this experience has made me realize how much the Japanese food establishments in Japan really take pride in the food and service they give. I guess that’s why I still live there. Basic dish like oyakudon wasn’t even offered there which was disappointing. Such a simple dish, rice with Katsu on top and then topped with slightly runny scrambled egg covering the whole dish. If you ever have this especially in Japan it’s quite good and filling. Also doesn’t break the bank. Sorry but I will pass on this restaurant and I can’t even recommend it to my Japanese friends because they would likely feel that there is something wrong with me.

Stopped in late and were seated right away! Our waiter was quick to take our order. We got the rainbow roll and the crunchy spicy tuna which we both very good! We also order the haleakala but weren’t a big fan of it. Three rolls and our total was around $50
