Pretty much if they are open I'm stopping for some malasadas for the road. I'm partial to the guava, also like the vanilla cream and the turnovers. Lots of nearby parks, beaches, scenic drives and road trips nearby, so basically lots of reasons to buy a bag of malasadas. Also sold individually. $10 minimum for card pay.

It’s been 30 years since I last had a cream puff. And it’s still incredibly delicious. Simple and no frills historic bakery. No secret or complicated menu. Local spot that’s been crushing it for over 100 years. What they have is the best on the island. Get there early because things sell out. Must stop for anyone.

We were excited to try this place after hearing that it’s a 4-generation Japanese family run business. When checking out, I happily told the cashier woman that we came all the way from Japan and was really excited to try out their store and she simply just let out an “oh” in response. Horrible customer service. Such a shame to their grandparents that founded this place.

This is one of those establishments that you want to see for the historic feel and authentic vibe.

It’s all about the pastries here, get them while they’re fresh and hot before they sell out! Love the history and tradition since 1916 :)

Lazy Lazy Lazy staff. They could barely be bothered to grunt and lift a finger to point.

We went for the guava malasadas, which were fantastic. We also had the glazed donuts on a stick which surprised me, just fantastic.
