Not so friendly people, when we walked in the guy there didn't seem to happy to help. And got bothered when we asked what came inside the burritos ect. When he said the burritos had the beans and rice on the side and just meat and lettuce on the inside he'd say like traditional Mexican food and look at us like we were lost or crazy. I mean you can make a burrito like that but the beans and rice usually go inside it. And when we said we were going to comeback and keep looking they just locked the doors.

My husband and I shared a plate with a beef enchilada, chicken tamale, rice and beans. We share because we just don't eat that much anymore. The food was delicious. We finished the mains but couldn't finish the rice and beans. Very affordable for us.

Just discovered this place and it's really good! Had the carnitas plate. Just a heads up it's cash only but there is an ATM 20 yards away.

We were just passing through and starving, I’m so glad we chose this place. The prices were slightly higher than we expected, but once we got our food we knew why!! The veggie burrito was HUGE! quite literally the biggest burrito i’ve ever seen. The prices are MORE THAN FAIR. The owner was very friendly and helped me find something vegetarian friendly that I would enjoy, and was patient with my questions. We had a very good expirence here and would return

Best teriyaki deluxe sandwich I ever ate! Plenty meat, tender tasty with a soft bun on garden fresh vegetables with a side of Mac salad. I heard the Mexican food is great and I can't wait to try the plate lunches. Kudos to the chef! :)
This place is a hidden gem. One of the last affordable places to eat good local food on Maui. Ordered the chop steak big enough for 2. Portions are outright incredible. You leave knowing that your money was well spent and you supported a humble local business. Keep doing what you're doing!

I wholly support small business and mom and pop shops, but for this place I unfortunately need to give it a thumbs down due to the food. We wanted to try out the mixed plates, so we ordered the kalbi plate, the loco moco, and the chopped steak plate....all bad choices. Kalbi plate: the kalbi was tasteless and contained so much gristle. You can't chew on the food, you have to gnaw at it Loco moco: the beef patties had a "secret " ingredient (and I don't mean that in a good way). It tasted like hamburger infused with cleaning powder. Chopped steak: the meat was C grade meat, and again, tasteless and super chewy. It's too bad that we threw away all the food after only a few bites. At $15 per plate + tax, I lost about 50 bucks on this place. Do yourself a favor a stay away.

Super good. Don't pass up this place without trying it. It's cash-only but it's worth it. Small, family owned and ran restaurant which serves local food and Mexican food. I wish they'd put up a nice sign outside which says they serve authentic local food and authentic Mexican food. The portions here are massive. The food is fresh and so good! Don't. Sleep. On. Mixed. Plate. Go here. You won't regret it. It's ono.

Food is amazing and quantities are awesome! Price is good for the amount of food! The guy who takes orders is always pleasant.

Our go to for Mexican, period. Staff really gets to know you and your orders. We usually share the carne asada fajitas.
