The house bowl has three fish, and a ton of locally sourced greens with just enough rice, perfectly seasoned without dousing it with overly sweet sushi vinegar…. In short, heaven in a bowl

We tried two of the vegan hand rolls and they had interesting flavors. Good option for the area.
Would order everyday if I could. 100% recommend stoping here if you’re in the area. Poke bowl and the spicy tuna hand roll is a must try

This place looks so sweet and inviting but the food was mediocre at best and the service (and attitude of the owner) was somewhere between strange and downright nasty. Maybe I just got unlucky or he was having a bad day, but definitely 👎
Excellent quality and taste. Unique combinations that had me ordering extra! Friendly service and quaint atmosphere.
Was excited to try as an option that was open late for post hiking. Always hard to find things in Makawao mid day. Not a lot of fish for the price. $75 later we are going somewhere else for a snack…What we did get tasted good and fresh. Tried the $8 Kombucha and $8 kava both were light on flavor and fermentation.
Amazing presentation, taste, and very friendly

Very very very good flavour, even the miso soup was flavourful
Really loved the food and drink here. Highly recommend! And wander the town while you’re there. Lots of great little shops and galleries.
The owner(?) was great and the location was very nice with tables/umbrellas. The food was on the pricier side and wasn’t my favorite taste profile.
Overly expensive and not the greatest quality.
I got their special dragon roll. It was fishy; the ahi was not fresh at all. 25$ for nothing (see photos attached). Also 15$ for a tiny ramen??? The flavor was not the greatest either.
Sushi bowl was delicious, (fresh fish!) definitely worth the price. But don’t even get me started on the salad side… 5$ for a piece of lettuce???
We spent overall 90$ for 50% rice, 40% plants, and 10% fish (split among 3 people).
Very beautiful food and I loved the inclusion of herbs/plants but the prices are ridiculous for the portion size. This is barely enough to feed a toddler. Also I feel bad for the chef because he is also taking orders AND cooking. I can only imagine how stressful that gets during peak hours.
Awesome place — fresh food, great vegan options, and fantastic service. Can’t recommend highly enough!
