Wei Wei BBQ is one of those spots you almost don’t want to tell people about — because it’s already hard enough finding parking. Family-owned, fast, friendly, and straight-up broke da mouth food.
The roast duck, char siu, and crispy pork are all winners. You can’t really go wrong — it’s always hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. Feels like comfort food made by your auntie who actually likes you.
And I probably shouldn’t say this, but… they might have the best smash burger on the island. For real. But don’t spread it around too much. I still like being able to order without a 45-minute wait.
This place has that rare combo: local feel, awesome people, and food that never misses. If you’re on Maui and haven’t tried it yet — go. Just… maybe don’t tell everyone
Wei Wei has thee best Loco moco. The gravy is killuhs and the mac salad is mac daddy! And unless you one kanaka, you better order the mini.
Best egg flower soup I have eaten. Love the mushroom bits inside!

I’m surprised this place is even still open, horrible customer service, owner has the worst attitude, flys everywhere, this whole place should have been shut down for health code violations (that already happened) so you thought they would have learned by now. Can’t tell you how many people I know who have gotten sick from this place. Please be ware much better restaurants near by, save yourself the disappointment.

Everything was okay, but not like the golden dragon on Oahu.

The food is okay, although they do have some exceptional ones that are really great. I really enjoyed the hamburger steak/ chicken cutlet combo plate.
Parking: The location I went to is in Pukalani, and the parking lot at this strip mall is extremely tight. It's not uncommon for people to not park within the painted stalls. It's just accepted at that particular parking lot due to the extremely tight spacing. Everyone just understands it's necessary.

Bland and unimaginative. If your goal as a restaurant is to give your customers as little as possible it terms of taste and quality then your doing a great job. It's been over 10 years since I gave this place a chance again and I was shocked that it it hasn't improved at all. I'm shocked it's still in business. To cook with love and a bit of effort would be a major life achievement for the owners and whoever they have in the kitchen. Not worth eating in my opinion.

Got the BBQ plate lunch. It comes with 2 scoops of rice and a scoop of mac salad. It was a decent meal, but nothing extraordinary. The girl behind the counter was very nice and efficient too. Plenty of tables inside for dining in.
