Aloha, We went to Assaggio's for a nice lunch, today. We had been there before, many times in the past, for family dinners and lunches. The two of us were seated, served iced water and brought warm bread and cold butter, as we looked over our menus. This has always been the norm for dining here. Nice real table clothes, napkins, silverware and nice big menus. It was a little after noon. Our server came to our table after we had taken our time looking over the menu. Everything...
The only thing I can comment on is the freshly prepared ceaser salad. It's made tableside and it's delicious. I recommend just for that alone. We got some beer and a margarita. The beer was good, margarita seemed a bit weak but it could have been because it was blended, I usually just have them on the rocks.
We were celebrating our daughters' birthdays and opted for an early dinner (4:30!) so that we could indulge in a huge dessert at home. Glad that we dined early, because the restaurant was quite busy. The meal and service did not disappoint; thank you!
