Call in an order at 8 thinking they closed at 9. They didn't lol. Didn't know this until I got there. Owner was super nice and friendly. I apologized about ordering when they closed but she was still super nice! I probably wouldn't have been as nice as her after working all day long. Food was good as usual. THANK YOU!

Ordered a combination Vietnamese sandwich and they charged me almost $10 for extra cilantro and add jalepenos. They didn't even put the daikon in it like all other Vietnamese sandwiches automatically come with unless you ask not to have it in it. I called bale to ask if they put daikon in all their sandwiches and the girl said they do. I asked why mine didn't have any and she said because I said no pickles. Uhhm when did they start calling daikon pickles? ( on their menu it said they put pickles and I assumed it was an actual pickle). Have 3 star because it was still good.

Been here twice now. Each time was nothing special. All food is pretty dry and lacks flavor. I wanted to come because during COVID it always had a long line and people said it was good. Have tried the roast beef sandwich, lemon grass fried chicken and the chicken curry. Maybe I will try something different if I decide to go back.

Ordered pho for dinner and I was sad. Unfortunately it was just very bland. They are generous when it comes the veggies they throw with it but no amount of extra sauce did anything. They give lemons instead of limes which was a first as well. But they have good reviews for other foods so maybe in the future I'll check it out again.

Love my iced coffee. Try it. You won't regret it if you like yours strong like me. Their sandwiches, and pho are also delicious. But my fav item is the coffee. Be prepared to wait a bit since it's made to order. So worth it.

Pho king good. Sandwiches are ono too. Lemongrass chicken or just a tuna sandwich with the crunchy bread and pickled veggies.

This Ba-le was only opened for take out which I was a bit bummed because I wanted to eat pho inside. Ordered a vegetarian sandwich and two egg rolls. Boy, the egg rolls are bomb! I love their French bread and it tasted so good with their crunchy sweet daikon and carrots. Fast service and my food was fresh so no complaints here for take out. Plenty of parking when I came, too, so that was a plus.

I come here quite often and can't believe this is my 1st review! I love me some pho from Bale! Specifically the chicken pho. My kids prefer the tofu pho and we all love the lemon grass chicken sandwich. They have been take out only since they reopened from the initial Covid wave and sometimes it's hard to get in to place a phone order as there phone will be busy. Once your order is placed it does usually take 20-30 minutes for pick-up. The food is consistently good and always fresh! Even though they are a little pricey in my opinion the quality of the food makes it worth it for me. I will continue to come for my pho fix.

Bale is located in Mililani Shopping Center near Foodland. I've been to this location many times. Due to covid, they don't allow you inside their restaurant. They have a table set up at their door with plexiglass and their menu. You can also call in your order if you don't want to wait there for your food. Usually I order their shrimp summer rolls and it's pretty good. I love banh mi, but the freshness of their bread is a hit or miss. Sometimes it's soft and fresh and other times my teeth are angry at me after finishing my banh mi. Recently I discovered they have croissants you can substitute for 50 cents more, so I decided to try it out. I absolutely love it! While it doesn't make it a traditional banh mi, it makes it much easier to eat! I love their lemongrass chicken banh mi and I wish they made a lemongrass tofu banh mi!

We love having this Bale in Mililani! It's evident by their amount of customers that their food is yummy. We love getting their pho, cold vermicelli with lemon grass chicken, sandwiches, summer rolls, spring rolls and tapiocas! The girl handling the orders at the door and in the phone is very friendly and hardworking. As busy as they get, she does her best to get the orders out as efficiently as she can. Glad to see them surviving the COVID times. Hope they never leave.

Eleven years later I'm revisiting a place that continues to be a favorite for me and for the neighborhood. The covid restrictions have stopped the ability to sit inside, but the Ba-Le staff has figured out how to make the best of their location. Order ahead and they will meet you at their door with your food well wrapped and ready to take home. The menu has not changed, so you can still order all of your favorites, and I suggest you order a few extra crispy spring rolls for your drive home. I hadn't been back for a visit for a few months and realized my mistake when I pulled up to the door to place an order and discovered that they were closed. My heart caught in my chest as I contemplated the idea that they might be gone, but soon remembered that they close one day a month to work on things without interruption. I work just a few doors down from the upscale La Tour Cafe, but would never have felt the same sadness if they closed unexpectedly. Sure enough I drove back the next day and ordered a few crispy rolls and an iced coffee, just to be sure that they continued to be right where I want them to be. This isn't fancy food. This is simple pho and Bahn Mi along with a few rice or noodle plates. My favorite choice continues to be #27, Lemongrass squid and chicken.

I found myself here after the gym and in between running errands. I love this local, family cooked option versus a chain fast food drive-thru. They just opened so there wasn't a wait and my banh mi was ready in about 6 minutes. The sandwich was delicious, the size was way bigger than some I've had on the mainland. I spent the last 5 years with Vietnamese neighbors that cooked for us often - THIS DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Friendly, professional, and safe service. They accept cash and credit card.

Everything is so good from here. I'll always come back whenever I'm craving Vietnamese food!! Their beef pho, plate lunches and their shrimp summer rolls are amazing!! Also their Thai tea as well.

Since COVID, wait times have been crazy. The review that you have to wait is no joke. I always phone order, but even then you have to wait-like sometimes more than 30 minutes. The food is good-sandwiches and rolls, I'd skip the pho just because it's bland, but luckily all their other food is good.
