Heavy plate of beef stew for $11. It was sooooo delicious. It doesn't have a strong tomato paste taste like so many others on O'ahu. This is my new go-to spot for comfort foods

Jeremy is still going strong with his lunch wagon. But you people really need to get out of my way because I dislike waiting in that long line (J/K). Scoopers had to raise their prices for all plates by one dollar (come on people, you can afford to pay another measly buck) due to rising costs but it is still incredibly affordable, and the quality hasn't dipped at all. Unpretentious old school plate lunches hit the spot. Always.

It's Thursday, so it's time to make a stop at the Scoopers lunch wagon up in Mililani tech park for their roasted turkey plate. You can't go wrong with a $10 plate that comes full of food enough for lunch and dinner and a brownie This is a regular sized plate, they also have mini and micro mini plates if you don't want this behemoth of a plate...but why wouldn't you, it's so good and I'd spend my thanksgiving here if I didn't have anywhere else to go for sure. Highly recommend this place with great, friendly, and fast service!

Lunch truck is located at mililani tech park. Ive recently tried their take out window in waipahu and was highly impressed with the food. I read other reviews that the pork adobo is a hit, so I went as soon as they opened. It was said that was the first to run out. Truck came about 9:30, but ordered when he was set up. He was super nice which seems to be the trend of this place cause the lady at the take out place was equally pleasant. On to the food! The pork adobo was excellent. Wasnt too salty or too vinegary, it was perfect. Meat was tender and soft. Love their homemade ranch dressing. My other half got the roast beef plate which i had to sample. The roast beef was soft and tender also! Lots of flavor! Mac salad is awesome. Both served with a fudgy brownie. Again mini for $8 are HUGE! I stand by this place 110% so far I haven't had one complaint yet! Will come back for more!

Inflation proof plate lunch.$10. The requisite two giant scoops rice, mac or tossed salad, and a pound of protein. OK, it may be a little of an exaggeration but three large chicken thighs, four burger patties, a literal pile of shredded pork butt. Kanak attack portions. Not gourmet. No garnishes. Cafeteria quality protein (everything is braised) and carbs. Again, just $10.The baked chicken, not what you'd expect. Baked in a light gravy so essentially braised. Fall off the bone tender and moist. Gravy over all a must. The teri burger features four hand formed burger patties with no fillers cooked with a light, simple teri sauce with copious amounts of sweet onions (it gives the teri sauce a different taste than most okazuya offerings). Roast pork, roast beef and roast turkey all with gravy made from their drippings all solid. Again, things are "roasted" in liquid (braised) keeping them plenty moist and pull apart tender. As such, all three are served shredded. More surface area to hold on to the savory gravy.A small rich chocolate brownie accompanies all regular plates. The truck does not sell out as fast as the Waipahu brick and mortar, they will have everything at 11am. Rotating menu with daily specials.A local spot that sets itself apart by offering agreeable food at a tremendous value. Three star food, five star value.

Lunch from Mililani Tech Park, Island of Oahu, Hawaii...I remembered reading reviews by my friends, Dan, Fran, Gabriel, Deborah, Judy, Roz, and Rachie. They raved about this Food Truck. Five Stars from each writer!Really?I need to investigate...Since I was in the area, I found "Scoopers Food Truck" easily on my GPS. (I actually had passed by Scoopers because I was kind of lost - trying to find a warehouse.) I saw that Scoopers had the longest line out of all the food trucks along the street. Yup!I parked quickly in front of the food truck for free (no meters, but I noticed a "no parking" sign... haha! Chance 'em!Luckily, there was no line when I got there (after my warehouse shopping)! I approached the young man at the window (I should have taken his photo because he was so pleasant) and ordered a Teri Hamburger plate. (I almost got the laulau plate since it was Aloha Friday, but decided not... even considered Kalua pig and cabbage... uhg... so many good choices!) It was just $10 cash (tax included) and came with tossed or Mac salad, two scoops of rice, and a brownie! (I got the fresh tossed greens with French dressing... crisp and delicious!)The young man offered me a package since I'd be transporting it in my car. Thanks! That's very thoughtful! At home, I opened the takeout box...Yum!There were FOUR little Hamburger patties that fit in the compartment of the box very well! That's smart - smaller patties probably cook faster and are easier to flip? I appreciated the sliced onions - they complimented the teriyaki sauce well! The portion was so generous that I ate half for lunch and will have the remainder for dinner!Note: The moist brownie was fudgy - not dry nor cakey! Thank you!

Thanks to Dan O. This food truck has been on my bookmarks for a while now. Its right down the road from me about 7 minutes away and still it took me so long to make it out. Some how I just always forget about it. The menu rotates daily and it was easy enough for me to scroll through yelp pics to see what day was best for me to check a few things out. Thursday was a given being that Mr G hard-core loves turkey, gravy and stuffing. Its not something you can easily get anywhere or just make whenever, not for us anyways. For $10 with a full plate with rice and tossed salad w dressing plus a brownie is amazing. Food quality was good. Service is great. Brother had a big smile and welcoming tone all by himself pushing through the line consistently 10+ deep w hungry customers. Cash and card accepted (card charged extra % for tax and fees). Along with plates, canned drinks are available for purchase also. I definitely look forward to exploring more menu choices and highly recommend even on just one visit!

I love coming to Scoopers. It feels like getting a home cooked meal. The bake chicken, teriyaki burger, roast beef, and pork adobo has all been a hit. I haven't gotten a chance to try the beef stew because that and the pork adobo is usually the first ones to get sold out. The food is flavorful and not too salty which I appreciate. The free brownie that comes with each meal is always such a nice treat. The service is kind and friendly. No wonder they always has a line and the food is always sold out within an hour of his arrival at Mililani Tech. He usually is there at 11 and sold out by 12. Moreover, the portions are generous and the price is way more competitive than all the neighboring food trucks at that time. I order the mini size and it fills me up. Such a gem and thankful for Scoopers lunch!

I occasionally visit Wahiawa/Schofield Barracks for work. When I do, I always try to schedule lunch someplace. At first I almost went to my favorite Oahu saimin stand on autopilot, but I remembered I had Scoopers Lunch Wagon on my Central/North Oahu to do list because of outstanding reviews from Yeeps Roz M, Judy C, and of course Braddah Fran C! And away we go! Located near the Spectrum Cable Center in Mililani Tech Park, I arrived at Scoopers a little after 12 pm- a little later than I wanted because Yeeps noted that their food goes fast. A not-bad group of 5 people stood in line, about half military. Two were from the nearby Hawaii Army National Guard Field Artillery unit (one of my units I was assigned to during my military time, Hiki No!). About half of the Friday menu specials were already gone, but they still had Lau Lau with haupia & Kalua Pig and cabbage, so I got a two-choice mix plate ($13 with drink). Soon we got our orders and went back to the office to grind! Oh boy, Hawaiian paralysis here I come! The mix plate was pretty heavy, a good sign. Opened the plate for the obligatory Yelp picture and was very impressed. One bombucha sized lau lau, kalua pig and cabbage all around it, a generous scoop of mac salad, nearly two scoops of white rise, two pieces of haupia, and a chocolate brownie square! I knew I wouldn't finish the plate in one sitting, so I started to enjoy the food and ensured that the first thing finished was the perishable macaroni salad. The lau lau was super porky (full of pork) and ono! Glad I got this combo, as the lau lau leaves & cabbage balanced all the pork meat. Scoopers is definitely on the rotation for yet another good spot in Wahiawa for grinds! The food was good, price reasonable, and the quantity impressive. What are you waiting for? Definitely recommend and will repeat!

Omg, Scoopers Lunch Wagon is super good! I keep seeing my foodie friend's lunch plate post on social media and I have to make it out there on a week day, since they are closed on weekends. Its so hard to go during the work week, I took off for an appointment so had to make sure I allowed time to go. Scoopers is located at the Mililani Tech Park, first time here and glad I didn't get lost via Google maps. Its more towards Wahiawa vs. Mililani. I found street parking right across the street from the line of food trucks. I see my foodie friend ( Ramfis) got his plate and was walking to his car. What a Lol moment as I mentioned to him that he is the #1, VIP, regular customer here. I look for the food truck and noticed the line, Scooper's is popular! The only truck with a line. As it got closer, the staff comes out and updates what sold out and how many is left. After 11 am and most of the items on the menu sold out. I wanted to get mushroom chicken and turkey but sold out on mushroom chicken. As I am next there is 3 more turkey and 2 in the back of me. I order 2 turkey and the guy in the back who was the last in line wanted turkey but I felt bad for getting 2 plates. The prices for plate lunch is super reasonable, ten bucks for regular plate and $6. for a mini. no tax if paying cash, they also take credit cards. I paid via credit card as its only a few cents with tax and I wanted the credit cards points. The guy, only employee working takes your order, packs plate, and cashier is super friendly! Got my 2 plates, package nicely all ready to go. couldn't wait to try. I got one plate for my chef brother, and the verdict. OMG, the turkey is so moist and it sure reminds me of school lunch days. The plate is massive which I shared with my other half and even have leftovers. The turkey also comes with stuffing which I enjoyed. The only complaint my brother had was needed more gravy. Each plates comes with a free brownie and WOW, what a treat, so moist. My opinion, this brownie is way better than the famous brownie place in Wahiawa. All in all, I am so happy I got to finally check out Scoopers, wish it wasn't so far out in Mililani. I need to try the other daily menu but I will have to wait for school intercession to go back again. Scoopers is amazing!! Oh and btw. Scoopers is not an ice cream shop, as I share the story about seeing our foodie friend at Scoopers and he thought it was ice cream, hehe.

I have a healthy obsession with Scooper's. There's a reason why his line is LONG and sells out fast! I usually come on Monday or Wednesday for the hamburger steak. 3-4 homemade patties over a bed of rice with an extra scoop of rice, Mac salad, sautéed onions and a ton of gravy, topped with a homemade moist chocolate brownie. FOR $10!!!! You just know they cook and bake everything with a lot of love and aloha. Plates are super cheap compared to other places! Their regular plate sizes put me down for a nap right after. So good and generous with the portions, plus TON of flavor. The guy running the wagon is always super friendly and nice. A+ service from him! Definitely check them out and get a KANAK ATTACK! PS: PLEASE make the hamburger steak a daily plate. 2x a week isn't enough for me.

Bruddah, there is a reason why this food truck get one long line!!!!So after chancing Scoopers in Waipahu a few months ago, since I had to meet up with my coworker in Wahiawa, I figured I'd stop by Scoopers Lunch Wagon at the Mililani Tech Park area.Yes, besides the traditional plate lunch location in Waipahu, Scoopers has a food truck tucked away in the Mililani Tech Park area. So easy to find, as when you drive up, just look for the long line by the food truck, and garans it's gonna be "Scoopers"!I've only been to Mililani Tech Park just once in my life, and coming back here today was just my 2nd time to Mililani Tech Park. Like I said before, easy to find as I used the GPS navigation from the Yelp Scoopers Lunch Wagon site. Upon getting into the area where Scoopers Lunch Wagon was, I noticed 5 other food trucks, but only one food truck had one supah long line. Guess which food truck had da long line????If you're thinking - "Scoopers Lunch Wagon", then "Bing, Bing, Bing" you're exactly right!!!Friday is basically Hawaiian Food day, but besides Hawaiian food, get Shoyu Chicken on Fridays at Scoopers!Bruddah Fran is da ultimate Shoyu Chicken connoisseur, and Scoopers Lunch Wagon did not dissappoint on their version of Shoyu Chicken! What can I say about da grub? For ($10.00) smackaz, da Shoyu Chicken plate I got had - tree (3) scoops White Rice, (3) meaty sized Shoyu Chicken, Toss Salad, & a bonus Chocolate Brownie!Very nice texture on the Shoyu Chicken, although the Shoyu Chicken meat is on the firmer side, as I bit into the Shoyu Chicken, the meat will easily fall off the bone. Pretty tasty Shoyu Chicken marinade..........overall, not bad at all this Shoyu Chicken plate!I must say Scoopers Lunch Wagon sure serves up some ono kine plate lunches at very reasonable prices! If you're looking for ono kine local style comfort food, good portions, outstanding prices, then say no more! Scoopers Lunch Wagon is a place you gotta check out!

Hey all you HUNGRY PEOPLE! Looking for a meal that will fill you up, go and visit SCOOPERS LUNCH WAGON over at the Mililani Tech Park. Here's the SCOOPS on finding them. Take the H2 freeway North Bound, get off on the Mililani Tech Park cut off. Make the first right, take another first right, and then the first left. They will be parked on the right side of the street right in front of Spectrum. SLW offers a variety of plate lunches with a variety of sizes. REASONABLE prices+ HUGE portions =ONO grindz! Garans babarans" you will have one...KANAK ATTACK! If you are local, you know what I mean! No joke! I regret eating this plate lunch before going to work that day. If you are not a local, kanak attack means that you will be sleepy after eating large portions. After talking with Jeremy (owner and chef), I decided on the mini turkey plate lunch. Jeremy told me that when he offers the turkey, he makes 6 fresh turkeys that day, and it always comes out moist...not dry. He was so nice and very welcoming. Excellent service! I couldn't believe how cheap the mini portion was. It was $8 and it was the size of a regular plate lunch at other joints! My mini plate came with: turkey over a bed of white rice with gravy all over, a scoop of homemade stuffing, a choice of mac salad/green salad. I chose the mac salad. It also came with a brownie as an added bonus. Wow, that was a nice surprise! I really enjoyed my lunch! The turkey was so delicious and very moist! The stuffing, the gravy and the mac salad was so ono, too! I was pleasantly surprised that this lunch wagon would produce such a wonderful meal for me! I am looking forward to eating a plate lunch from there again! 5 stars for you...SLW! So, if you looking for a great meal, check out SLW. You'll thank me for that! Support local, support lunch wagons, support Scoopers!
