Gurl, this was fye. Me n my bf came to eat here. The recommendations seemed ono but I got garlic chicken my bf got teri chicken n omg. Ts buss, the rice was perfect n the two cashiers were mad sweet.
Enjoyed the Tonkatsu sandwich here - probably the most satisfying crunch of any sandwich I’ve ever had ever. Would definitely come back. Very small seating area inside - they seem to do a lot of takeout business.

Rice Box Cafe feels like a hidden gem in Mililani Mauka. From the outside it looks simple with only a few places to sit, yet the inside stays clean, calm, and welcoming.
Most folks choose takeout here, and I have always ordered online with no issues at all. Portions are generous, and every dish has rich, satisfying flavor. The menu is not very large, yet every item they serve tastes wonderful. I enjoy places that keep their menu focused and deliver great quality every time.
People around Mililani already seem to love this spot, and I can see why. It has quickly turned into my favorite place for takeout in central Oahu.
Try it once, and you will see why it stands out!

Really really good food and service. I tried them for the first time today and the presentation was amazing and the flavor was even better I got a side of their noodles and the plate was the heaviest side I’ve had. I had to wait for maybe 8 minutes and my food came out piping hot and crispy. The man that took my order thanked me for waiting and was very kind. 10/10

I recently stumbled upon The Rice Box Cafe during my search for a nearby restaurant and was immediately drawn in by the rave reviews. The delectable menu had my mouth watering, and their user-friendly online ordering system made it a breeze to place an order for a later pickup time.
I indulged in three divine dishes: the Misoyaki Salmon, Sake Garlic Shrimp, and Shoyu Pork. Each bite was a heavenly blend of flavors, and the portions were satisfyingly generous. I can't wait to return to sample more of their tempting menu items.
Please note that The Rice Box Cafe is primarily a take-out place, as seating is limited to just a few tables. Regardless, I highly recommend this culinary gem for its irresistible cuisine and effortless ordering experience.

This restaurant absolutely lives up to the reviews: the food was incredible, and the staff were very kind. We got the chicken katsu and the Yakiniku Beef, which were both great. The restaurant itself is tiny and can only accommodate about 8 people, so to-go may be your best bet.
Rice Box Cafe truly goes above and beyond. From the moment you walk in, the staff greets you warmly and even opens the door for you—it’s the kind of genuine hospitality you don’t see every day. The food is absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and clearly made with care.
