Small but very friendly restaurant tucked away in Mililani mauka. The girl up front was very nice and friendly. The food was very good I didn’t know what to expect. The shoyu pork was amazing definitely would get again. My wife got the ahi cakes and she enjoyed them too. My son got the teriyaki chicken it was a little dry, but he did enjoy the hotdog. Would definitely go back and try other dishes.

The food looked really good. Unfortunately the food we got was dry. The shoyu pork tasted okay but really dry, the kids Teri chicken was a bit chewy, and the furikaki chicken had more breading than chicken. The rice was very mushy. The place is clean and great packaging.

The food and service is just ok. The prices were a little bit on the higher side. I went back a second time decided against it. The price of the dish I wanted to try was priced over $ 18.00. I decided against it remembering my last visit there which wasn't very good all the way around imo. No smiles and the food was just ok.

This place has been on my "need to try" for a while now and I'm so glad I finally got to go!! Located in Mililani Mauka next to Poke Stop and Rakumen. They only have 2 tables to sit and eat so it's better if you're taking it to go. I got their misoyaki salmon plate - all plates come with 2 scoops rice, edamame, tsukemono, corn and cabbage. You can sub the rice for tossed salad for an additional price. I was worried that the piece of salmon was going to be small but no worries here because they gave me a nice piece of salmon! It was so yummy and the salmon was moist! So good! I can't wait to come back to try other things on their menu! :)

Had some food there in the past, was ono. Went back with the missus today, and I gotta say it was refreshing to have great customer service. Whoever was working the front was very kind and spoke to us in a pleasant tone. We ordered the garlic ahi plate and the dynamite ahi cakes. We dined in and the atmosphere was lovely. Everything was ono as expected, but I gotta say the dynamite ahi cakes was especially amazing. It was the perfect amount of spicy; a nice kick, but not too hot. Stopped just short of burn your mouth kine hot. Hard to explain, just gotta try um for yourself. Once again, I just want to stress how refreshing it was to engage with employees that aren't rude and actually nice-- seems like the norm for everyone to be so mean to each other these days :( Needless to say we will be back!!! Five stars!!!

First time trying Rice Box Cafe and everything was so yummy! I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture before diving in, but we had the Garlic Ahi, Salmon Katsu, and a green salad. The Garilic Ahi was better than Nico's and you could tell the quality of fish was good. The Salmon Katsu was delicious. It was tender and crunchy with great flavor! The rice, edemame, and namasu on both plates were tasty and the perfect amount of crunch and texture for the plates. The food was awesome, but what really made it was the amazing customer service. They were so friendly and helpful! I truly appreciate great customer service. We will definitely be back!

Stopped in here while on vacation. A very small place, with an unassuming vibe. You know the food is good when the parking lot is full and the door is swinging open every five minutes. With only two tables, I would recommend getting your food to go. I had the Dynamite Ahi Cakes. There were spicy and good and a healthy portion of rice to fill you up. Service was average to above average as it was more a counter service. Drink selection was quite limited. Then again you don't come here for the drinks. If you are in the area and need a tasty bite to eat, give Rice Box a try.

I came across Ricebox's holiday catering on Instagram and decided to give it a try. We ordered a platter with garlic chicken, eggplant and tofu, yakisoba, and shoyu pork nishime. It turned out that these four dishes were more than enough to serve as the main course for around 15 people. I made my payment about a week ahead, and the order was ready right on time. The best part? All the dishes were incredibly flavorful. Even though it was a sizable order, the food didn't taste like it had been sitting out for a long time. Personally, my top picks were the eggplant and tofu, along with the shoyu pork nishime. The pork was unbelievably tender and packed with flavor.

Amazing! Ordered the garlic ahi with aioli sauce. Cooked to perfection and the aioli sauce was spot on! Portion was in my humble opinion, generous! Friend ordered the shout pork. Generous amount made with nishime, well soaked, meat was tender. Will be going back to try the other items on the menu. Call first to make sure they didn't run out. Cashier was professional, courteous and even brought out our order!
