Been a while to eat here so hubby and I thought to try it again. Few years ago food went down. BUT now??... Let me tell you, it was FABULOUS!! Ordered take out... Katsudon (bowl) and hubby ordered Tonkatsu plate. Meals came with miso soup, rice and salad. We also ordered side each Tempura shrimp and vegetable. Food was so fresh and awesome. A lot of food for the price! Very impressed and will definitely be back again!

This place is sliding! Entree portion size seems to have decreased and the food isn't like it was 2 months ago.

This place is careless.I ordered a rare steak pho for my daughter and asked that they put the steak in the soup and apparently these instructions were too difficult for their staff. After agreeing, they instead didn't put any rare steak in it at all. I called them and they didn't offer a refund until I asked- they said I would have to drive back so they can run my card. This is a warning to you. If you find yourself in the unfortunate predicament of craving pho but you live in Waipio- do yourself a favor. Get it from Waipahu or pearl city because the staff at Pho and Saito are too incompetent to make your order without you having to check it before leaving.

I love that the man cooking in the back (I think he's the owner) plays Christian music when it's not busy in the daytime. It's such a blessing to see him jam out, being happy and blessed to have an amazing restaurant. I'm walking distance to this location and it's my staple for pho on O'ahu. Their broth is rich (they don't cut corners on time) and they're quality is top notch each time. The noodle, meat, and broth ratio is perfect. They have a garlic chili oil that's boommbbbb. I've had many of their pupu's - spring roll, summer roll, fried oysters, tried different plates, ordered a lot of things, and everything is good. Local families and military frequent this spot. We always see uncles, aunties, and kupuna here so you know it's a staple. My go-to: Large brisket and beef ball pho with a side of sliced white onion. I also recommend getting side of tempura just because.

Stumbled upon this place because I was craving Wingstop but was not willing to wait 50 minutes since I was super hungry. The service was incredible!! We asked the guy for his recommendation and he recommended the Wafu steak. It was so delicious and I already can't wait to go back to get it again. We went towards closing so it was a little on the slower side but I loved it. Highly recommend this place! Thank you boys for the recommendation and awesome service!

Dinner spread tonight for my birthday. Decided to have a chill night and order take out.Food is usually always great from here, but tonight, I was SO disappointed to find a roach in the niksuke sauce for the hamachi kama. I tried to recreate it but was looking forward to their sauce which has white onions, green onions and tofu.

When you change the hours of business you need to update the info online. People on their lunchbreak don't need to be wasting their time.

Was going to head next door for dinner but because of long wait times and a hungry belly, decided to give Saito & Pho a try. What a happy surprise! The banh mi and vermicelli pork was delicious and huge portions. This was a great value for two adult portions and soft drinks for $30!

There are 3, high school kids running the place. We sat down and waited for about 5 minutes before one of them came to take our order. I always order the spring rolls/bbq pork vermicelli. When it came, there was only 2 small pieces of spring roll and small bits of bbq pork . Father in law ordered nabeyaki udon. The udon was overcooked and shredded, the broth was tasteless and very little chicken. Mother in law ordered curry chicken and it was dry and tasted sweet. No taste of curry! Wife has chicken salad and very little dressing. Not one of them comes around to fill water nor check how our meals are. No idea what they doing, worse no manager roaming the place. After we were done, we waited for a while to get the bill and had to ask for it. We will NEVER come back to this place again!

If was a score out of 10 would be a 5 or 6 because even though we weren’t expecting the sashimi or sushi in general to be top tier since this isn’t a sushi restaurant, the sashimi was frozen. Not like small kine icy in the middle, like frozen-frozen.Then while we were eating had three fat flies flying around.Good news, the pho was good though, as well as the chicken katsu curry.

We had a nice experience here last night. We both ordered the wagyu steak, sashimi, tempura combo. The steak arrived on a sizzling platter and the sauce can be applied upon arrival or dipped as you eat. FYI, if ordering wear appropriate shirt that could be splattered on. I thought ahead of time. The tempura came out first and it was very yummy. Fresh made to order crispy tempura. The rest of the food arrived a few minutes later. A tip, if you like medium steak slight pink. I recommend ordering medium rare. Your steak will cook additional time on the hot platter. I ordered medium but the steak had no pink and more well done or medium well. Overall, the food was very good.
