Absolutely fantastic food. The classic tanaka ramen was top notch, and the fried calimari was delicious. The team was very ready to help us as soon as we walked in, and when we were ready to order, and even when we were ready to head out. Price was just over $40 for two, with an appetizer and no drinks.

Our first time dining here. We shared gyoza, tofu & avocado, and clam tempura fries.
Everyone except me had the Tanaka Classic ramen. I had the Tanaka Tonkotsu ramen.
Everything was so delicious and the portions were big. The restaurant itself is very roomy and spacious. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Our food came out fast. Prices are reasonable for the large portions we had. We will be back and next time we'll go for the Volcano ramen.

I'm not sure if it's a regular occurrence, but my wife gets off work late, and when she got home, she said she wanted ramen, so we thought we would try a new place and picked this. We arrived at the establishment at 9:15 and it's advertised they close at 10:00. People were still seated and eating. Upon entering they told us they were closed. I asked if they close at 10 to wich they responded yes but last call Is at 9:30. It was 9:15. Super disappointed in the unprofessional and rude staff we were talking to. My wife and I were very polite. Hopefully better people will be working next time we try to eat here.

Unbelievably delicious! Instantly addicted! Service could be a little friendlier and helpful. Need more napkins and water services. Came hungry, left full. Noodles were amazing! Chairs need to be bigger, the chair arms squish my legs together and don't feel comfortable. Don't know why the doors are open always, is there no air conditioning? Personally, I was reluctant to enter because of the "airyness" as I dont like eating hot food in the hot and prefer to eat in air conditioning environments to stay cool. Sitting outside was not as bad as I thought it would be. The menu also has words for food that are not matching the pictures. The eggs in the soup are soo good as they have a flavor to them. Only wish that more soup was in the bowl of ramen.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are happy about food.

Was really hoping that this experience could be attributed to just being brand new, but it's not. Misleadihg menu descriptions, tiny portions sizes, lack of flavor... You name it!

Living in Mililani, there really aren't very many great places to enjoy for a meal out with your family or friends. The Pearlridge location did much better in my opinîon.

$19 Hamachi Kama was a rip off! In the photo, it appeared much more like what one might expect... When it arrived at our table, it was a tiny piece that was about 5inches long by 3 inches wide. I've had a half side of Hamachi Kama at Doraku that was more flavorful, meat filled and more substantial (almost 3x the size)

Absolutely amazing Ramen I had the classic, I ordered it to go and brought it home delicious! next time I will dine in to have it at its freshest but I highly recommend giving this place a try ??

I got the Tanaka garlic volcano ramen and lychitini. The ramen itself wasn't hot, so if you love heat, I'd ask to make sure it's extra spicy. Despite that, the flavors all hit. I had so much ramen I could not finish it, definitely money's worth! The lychitini, I felt the vodka was a bit more powerful than the lychee taste itself, still a nice beverage though. Overall, I loved it here. I definitely will come back.

My friend took me out for lunch today- she wanted me to try out a new place in Mililani called Tanaka Ramen & Izakaya. I loved it here. Nice drink selection as well as Japanese favorites. I chose the Beef Sukiyaki Don. Slow braised sukiyaki beef with onion, green onion, sesame seeds over hot rice. It also comes with a half seasoned egg but I don’t like eggs so I requested they omit it. It was delicious. Very savory taste, not too salty or sweet and very filling. My friend ordered The Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen. Kale noodles in a vegan broth with bean sprouts, spinach, crispy onions, atsuage tofu, & green onions. Garlic Oil and Chili oil are also in the broth but she chose to omit it. She really loved her choice as well. Service was excellent, friendly staff and clean surroundings. Will definitely come again and highly recommend this nice new spot in Mililani (near the theaters) ☺️

I paid 25 dollars for a half bowl of the seafood dynamite bowl. Should’ve checked before i left to ask is this is how it suppose to be. taste okay, but the portions their serving is not okay the price , this is literally one scoop. At least for me .

Every dish we tried had so much flavor, and we definitely want to go back and try different menu .

We went on Monday, so there was no line. We could just walk in. It's nice that there is a choice to sit outside or inside.

The price is decent. Some dishes were small portions for the izakaya pupu style.

Besides ramen, I highly recommend the sushi handrolls.
You pick 3 for the $16.
Hamachi has yuzu flavor... yum
Ahi and salmon poke with avocado...yum

Garlic fried rice is with bacon

Seafood dynamite was small portions but very tasty , I will order it again!

Calpico drink tasted like it was mixed with lemonade....interesting, my daughter didn't care for it, though.

Service was very good, also we didn't wait too long for the food...Monday night

Overall, everything tasted great to us.
We really enjoyed it here. First time trying tanakas. Definitely, we will be back.
