We got a food plate of Korean fried chicken which was good and then we got the mushroom burger. The burger was dry, had unsauteed mushrooms, no sauce. Base price $6.80, To add anything to it was extra $. We paid $10 total. So would not recommend the burgers.

Terrible customer service at the take out. I came to pick up my order which should be in locker 29. There was nothing there. I asked to the person in charge whose name is Shirley and she doesn't speak good English so she didn't understand my requirement. After she louded her voice to me in a rude way, she figured out that my order never was made. So now I had to wait 25 min for them to prepare my order. So frustrating, and poor handled by that employee.

Okay so, mind you I love Zippy's Chili, the sometimes-friendly employees. On-line order was 1 barrel of chili no beans, because who wants gas all night... am I right or am I right..lol. Anyways, I placed the order at 16:05 (4:05pm) to be ready at 16:30 (4:30pm) I had one errand to finish up. They texted me at 16:12 (4:12pm) that they had received my order and that they would text me when it was ready. I also received 2 more texts 1. that my order was in the kitchen and 2. that my order was ready for pick up in a locker. I arrived to pick up my order at 16:45 (4:45pm). My Chili was sitting in a locker for a little over 30 mins. WHY? When i asked to pick up at 16:30 (4:30pm). Thats WAYYY to long for my expensive food to be sitting in a warm locker. My chili was luke warm as to other times I've picked it up piping hot. Not a good experience today.

This has always been one of my favorite local franchise restaurants, but it’s only four stars now because I’m saddened that inflation has affected the prices of this place so much, which I understand is out of their control. But I digress, everything else is spectacular. The food portions are huge, the bakery has an extensive selection, and the customer service and ease of online ordering and pick up is top notch.

The fried chicken options, from katsu chicken, or Korean fried chicken are always delicious, perfectly crisp, hearty portions and side of macaroni salad ties the whole meal together. Their world class chili is also to die for. I’ve tried replicating the recipe myself to no avail.

The Keiki macaroni and cheese isn’t anything special, just your simple box Kraft Mac and cheese, but my son had no complaints as that is his favorite kind anyways.

The bakery from the cakes, pastries, donuts, are all delicious and some products have their own unique local Hawaiian flare. Ranging from guava, lilikoi, or ube, the bakery section has something for everyone.

Sometimes the food does take a while because everything is made to order for the most part, so take advantage of their online ordering tool. You just place the order and they will have it ready for pick up in the lockers, which you will have access via your phone to unlock, to prevent theft of your delicious meal.
