On our way to Black Sand Beach and needed a lunch stop. This was a great choice! I ordered the fish sandwich special with catch of the day, Ahi Tuna blackened. Wow! With dill slaw on top! Wow!! Loved the fries too. My husband ordered the Gobbler with turkey and bacon. It was delicious! Enjoyed a glass of the Matua wine as well. Our server, Taylor, was wonderful.
Definitely a great spot before your journey for the day.

Wow, what a hidden gem. We were so happy to find them on our way home from Kilauea. The food was absolutely delicious & the welcoming Aloha spirit was wonderful. We both selected a beef option from the local ranchers. Prepared just to our liking. Dessert options were amazing as well. We selected a vegan, gluten-free item. Yum all around.

Mo’ bettah now under new ownership! Same good food but now there are smiles and aloha. The vibe is definitely e’ komo mai!

Service excellent. Ahi was great. Ono was a bit over grilled and tough, but edible. Pricy for the small portion. $30 for the ahi, shrimp (2) and sliver of chicken. I had to eat again later at condo. Unsure if I would return, but the people are extremely nice.

Went to pay respects as my brother died here. Its dangerous and no swimming should be allowed. Many locals and others die here every year.

Our server was very upbeat and friendly. The ono fish was cooked perfectly and advertised as caught fresh that day. The rice was somewhat of a disappointment. My friend and I shared a dinner and they very nicely accommodated us. We ended our meal with macadamia pie, something new for both of us. It was very creamy and we enjoyed it.
