By far the best spot we have had breakfast at while we have been here. The food is amazing, vibe is like no other, and people are lovely! Not the spot if you’re looking for a quick in and out.

If you are lucky enough to make it to Pahoa, you have to make a stop to Pele’s kitchen! Food and service were both incredible, but the experience is beyond anything. You truly get to feel like one of the locals and like a part of the Pahoa family. The owner, Casey, took time out of his jam packed morning to make a point to welcome us and spend time telling us about the history of the area and even gave us fresh picked fruit from a local farm. It was one of the most memorable experiences we’ve had in Hawaii. Also, their chocolate is incredible. Thank you Casey and the Pele’s Kitchen team for welcoming us to the family. We can’t wait to come back!

Pele's Kitchen is my go-to for brunch whenever I'm in Pahoa. I'm completely obsessed with their mango coconut blintzes! Fair warning though, they sell out often, so get there early if you want them. I learned that the hard way on my last visit.

Luckily, everything here is delicious. I ended up getting the mountain apple french toast and a platter of bacon instead, and it was fantastic. The coffee is excellent too, which is a must for any good brunch spot. They had a live musician performing inside, which was a nice touch. I grabbed a seat outside and the outdoor seating area is beautiful – total jungle vibe that makes the whole experience even better.

The service is excellent and friendly, which really adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Can't recommend this place enough. Just remember to arrive early for those blintzes!

This is just a totally great vibe all around, Pele’s has its own unique ambience and is at the same time homey and traditional Hawaiian with the true spirit of aloha 💫🌈🌞🌈💫

I had breakfast at Pele's Kitchen. Try Vegan pancake if you are a pancake person.

Live music, really good and soothing. The food was fresh and tasted so good. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. Fresh fruit platter was so fulfilling with fruits you’d not normally get elsewhere. The staff is very friendly and we truly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend.

By far THE BEST PLACE TO EAT on the Big Island! The food is amazing and so unique! All the fruits are grown from their farm, PUNA GOLD, and every dish tasted so fresh. I’m very particular with attentiveness and customer service and they were on point ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. There was a live singer performing, which added an island vacation vibe and atmosphere! They also had amazing desserts, chocolate, and coffee. Check out this place you will get the Royal Hawaiian Treatment!

Been meaning to post a review, this place was beautiful, great food, and even better people. I love that everyone in da kitchen was jammin their music and having a great time, can tell they’re all bonded as a family. We got lucky and when everyone left we got to talk stories with a few of the people who worked there and then the owner dueled my boyfriend lol, I could not stop laughing! Owner coulda definitely have won but went easy & let my boyfriend win haha 🤣! Nah nah nah, but honestly a great spot wit pure aloha. You got to stop here if you’re on the big island. We’ll for sure be back!

The perfect Pahoa vibe, great food, service, and we even caught some live music. We'll be back! Oh and they have locally made chocolate that is absolutely fabulous. Forgot to take pictures to post, sorry.

We paid $100 for three people for breakfast, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The service was quite slow, and a few of the items we ordered never arrived. Most of the food lacked flavor, although the fruit was fresh and enjoyable( thanks to nature) . Also, the $12 side of “oyster mushrooms” was mostly minced mushrooms filling the spoon, which was not what we expected. Overall, it did not feel worth the price.
