Cool that you could walk around the building, into the trees and see coffee drying. Good shop.
I bought several different types of coffee to bring home and the bag I bought from here was my our favorite. ❤️ lots of coffee drink options too and beautiful grounds to enjoy the scenery.
Amazing Kau coffee. Every bit as good as Kona coffee. They also have some Mac nuts.
A beautiful drive back off the road by macadamia nut trees and delicious coffee and espresso! Sampled coffee and it is so good we bought a bag to take home!
We went to this place 3 consecutive days for our morning coffee ☕️ they have free samples inside the shop as well. A very good concept to try the different flavour of manufactured coffees : It’s a coffee plantation. We didn’t do it, but you can also visit the area with a guided tour.
We didn’t try the food, I think they are only selling muffins.
Coffee prices was correct : around 6-7 USD for each.

We saw the sign after leaving the black sand beach . I thought at first I was getting lost driving through local neighborhoods past Macadamia nut trees . Then out of nowhere I see Kau coffee. It’s not a big place but it s perfect . The employees were so wonderful and helpful almost like we were family. I suggest next time you’re in Hawaii it’s a must .

We came in and even though 3 workers were in the room , not one greeted ortalked to us. We really like the coffee and wanted to buy a couple different bags but the fact that no one spoke to us or asked to help us made us not want to spend our money here we left without the purchases we fully intented to make. We even gave them a second chance and walked back through the show room, nothing.
Generous free coffee samples with plenty of extras to choose from.

Cow coffee is the same species as Kona coffee.
We sell several types of coffee made from Kau coffee beans, and they generally have an acidity.

I tested out their free coffee samples while buying some gifts for family and was like "WOW"!!! Their Vanilla, Mac Nut, flavor coffee is a must....I came back to buy me a bag. It nothing like I ever tasted before, no coffee after taste and it really goes along GOOD, if you're 420 friendly! ?

The free farm tour was great and I liked that they have samples for all their different coffees so we could try them before buying the Ka‘u coffee we liked best.
Our kids also enjoyed the fresh smoothies.

I ordered the peaberry and the beans looked old and dull and not uniform in color.

Terrible coffee. Tried all they had and even bought some from the bar thinking it might be better in a latte or au lait but it was still terrible. There’s a video outside about a white guy that buys up all of the land, dams the river, and gives the locals low paying jobs..restoring hope to the region.
Here’s a pretty flower to make you feel better. Skip this place though.
