Perfect vacation breakfast. Pancakes are as big as the plate. And tastes better than IHOP. You can get two of the pancakes with two strips of bacon for $10.95. Quaint little restaurant, I would recommend it to any age group. Even children love it here. Hats off to the chef and wait staff. We'll done.

Vegetarian options: They do have things that can be modified for vegetarians.

Dietary restrictions: Just let the wait staff know of restrictions that you may have.

Parking: They have their own parking lot.

Kid-friendliness: Yes, kid-friendly. And has a great child menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it is wheelchair friendly.

Food is some of the best in this part of Hawai'i, prices are great, and service is always Aloha friendly.

Good place for local food .
They serve large portions with fair prices. I sit at the bar for entertainment and to watch sports. There is a family room for the family with lots of choices for children
Mornings have my favorite eggs Benedict .You can order the food to go.

The people are very friendly and service was great. My only complaint was the food was not seasoned at all, but can be fixed with some salt and sauce!

Black Rock Cafe reminds me of time travel back into the 1970s. There is normally adequate parking in the parking lot in front of the cafe. If not, additional parking is located in the small parking lots behind the cafe. Bottom line I have never walked more than a couple of minutes to the cafe. I normally stop in for a very reasonably priced breakfast-2 eggs, hash browns and sausage. A chili omelet is also a great choice. I drink coffee without any additives and the coffee has always tasted excellent. So far the staff has provided a free coffee to go when I order coffee during the meal. Staff are very friendly and polite. This is one eating establishment I have in mind when I am anywhere near Pāhoa .

Solid American Asian Local food. Great staff. Fair pricing. The bar has a casual, old school vibe and offers live music.

Parking: Most of the time you can find a spot in the main lot.
