Love this spot. They have such a great happy hour! The vibe inside is great, especially for Puna. $5 house margaritas that are relatively strong and all their apps are under $10 during happy hour. Plus free chips and salsa. I haven't seen a deal like this for a while, even on the mainland. It's completely worth your time to check it out.

Honestly the best thing was the server. She was very nice and tentative. Food was mediocre. The steak was nice quality but the flavors were barely there. The ceviche fish and shrimp was not good. Personally I liked the polsole soup, the meat was tender except the beans were overcooked. The best thing they had was the free chips and salsa. Random but the bathroom was very clean.

This is a great local eatery, and they have a great bar with a big menu. The food portions are generous and tasty, and the atmosphere is great. Our group had an attentive and friendly server, she got things for you without your needing to ask, she just kept an attentive eye on our table and brought water etc... out whenever she saw it was needed. This was my first time at this restaurant, but it won't be my last.

Happened to drop in around lunch time and they had lunch specials for $11. The fish tacos were delicious and they have good selection of draft beers. Overall it was a satisfying lunch in a nice setting.
Excellent Mexican food. We both ordered the lunch special, one steak burrito and one chicken burrito bowl. At $11 it was the best deal to be had on the Big Island. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Never going back. I went there last night and when the waiter came to take our order he cut us off halfway through and said "are you seriously going to order all of that, it's literally going to take up the entire table". Honestly we should've walked out then and there but we were both exhausted and just wanted to eat. I made the mistake of ordering sweet tea (it's hit or miss) and didn't care for it, never said anything about it just asked if I could please get a glass of water with lemon and when he came back to bring my water he pointed at my glass of tea and said "so are you just not gonna drink this or what?" I'm not sure what our servers name was but this is by far the worst dining experience I have ever had. The food is good but this ruined everything for me and we will not be going back.
