One of the coolest social spots I have ever been to. Kava bar, open mics. The place is bursting with talented musicians. Super chill people. Whole vibe is amazing. Just go. Monday nights. Very diverse spot.

I spent multiple days hanging out here. I love the atmosphere and staff is wonderful! They have Open mic night Monday, Reggae night and karaoke night as well. Ginger and turmeric shots were wonderful. Their kambuche is amazing on tap!

This place has a 'je ne sais quoi' like no other.. !! the kava they served 'issa' was locally grown down the road! They also sold 'Noni' (a local fruit) shot, they are grown up the street!! These kids know how to give you an authentic Hawaiian kava experience. Pahoa is such a charming little village of a town.Aloha and Mahalo ?

We had such a great time at this kava bar! Ryan is so passionate about kava, he held a ceremony for us and shared everything he knows about kava! He even showed us "baby kava plant", offered fruits and told us about all local events. We had a great time visiting this place!If you're there - stop by Kehena beach!

We stopped by after a rainy day at the beach and were drawn in by the atmosphere. The bartender was awesome at explaining what Kava was. We tried two kinds and enjoyed our time here. Try something new and enjoy good company * and great music. Thank you for introducing us to Kava and Nahko!

Much aloha there. I enjoy the different forms of Kava available and well as the teas and coconut water. Ryan is such a great soul! I most often see him behind the bar and enjoy him so much! The inside is likely the most colorful place I've ever been thus exciting my creative spirit! Such and unique and beautiful place.
