Went here for lunch at about 1030am, the turn around time from breakfast to lunch. Ordered a quarter pounder meal and hoping it'd be hot and fresh...WRONG!!!! Burger was luke warm, fries was the same and the chicken nuggets! It's like they were sitting in a warmer for hours! Seems NOTHING is made fresh here or they make it hours in advanced! This wasn't the first time either...

Absolutely shocked at how I was just treated by this McDonald’s. I was in the drive thru ordering and they parked me for my food. We were waiting a couple minutes and the girl comes out with the plastic tray and shoved it into our car door so hard it made a loud noise. My husband instantly was angry, as we just purchased our brand new Ford Bronco. I calmed him down and we drove off and brushed the experience off. When we arrived home, I examined the door and sure enough, there’s a paint chip where she smacked the tray. My husband is irate at this point, but I call the store to find a solution to what happened. They first told me nothing could be done, I said absolutely not there must be some sort of insurance you have. Then they put me on hold. By the way, not one apology has been received at this point. I’m holding for a few minutes then get hung up on. I call back, thinking maybe it was an accident. They answer and are completely silent then start laughing hysterically and hang up again. Do they think it’s funny to damage peoples BRAND NEW CARS! I am contacting the store owner and going forward from here. Beware of being parked or going through the drive through, you may just get your car ruined trying to get a cheeseburger.

As a customer over 15 minutes away from my home who needed to use the restroom badly, I ran in and ordered a little sandwich to go and while I was waiting asked for the bathroom code and was told that even though I'm a paying customer, I was not allowed to use the bathroom. However, I just got done watching an employee going in and using the restroom, so of course it's working but they won't even accommodate someone who's having an emergency. Aloha spirit is missing from this place entirely. Also way overpriced, but that's to be expected 😜

First and last time I’ll come here. My nuggets were barely warm, ordered an extra sauce and didn’t get it, also asked for light salt on my fries- they put them back in the fryer to take the salt off of old fries making them stale, like seriously why do people do that, it’s disgusting. Spent $13, meaning I worked 45 minutes for this very disappointing meal. I’ll stick to Burger King for now on as they never miss.

01/18/25 pull up at 9:05 order coffee oatmeal and bagel waited for 25 minutes. Total in the line 1st, and then they make me wait on the side with another three or four cars. This McDonald’s need a management. Everyone is very slow and unorganized and this is not the first time.
The Pahoa McDonald's has no atmosphere. Mostly people don't come in & sit down to eat. Most people go through the drive thru and take it with them. We ate there but I guess you are suppose to order at the kiosk inside but there was one person that did take our order without using that kiosk. It was just okay. We like the McDonald's in Hilo better!
Parking: Not a lot of places to park nearby as it's in the shopping mall but not much parking close by. Guess that's why most customers use the drive thru and take their food home or elsewhere.

Really dont eat the food here. I mostly just buy coffee or Ice tea so making me use the complex ordering computer for one item that I pay cash for is a BIG waste of my time!
