Ming’s Thai Cuisine is one of the better Thai restaurants in the Pahoa area. Pluses are indoor seating, great service and a very cozy atmosphere. The food is top of the line. My first visit I had Pad Thai. Now I am venturing out to new dishes and so far I have tasted nothing but fantastic food. Identifying great places in Pahoa lets you not make the journey into Hilo which for dinner is a game changer since that drive into Hilo can be dangerous, especially at night.

This great little restaurant is a Pahoa Town classic and right on the main street. It's a smaller place which fills up fast so reservations are recommended. Wonderful selection of authentic Thai dishes. The green curry was delicate and delicious. The yellow crab Curry was creamy and lightly sweet. Try the Thai green tea for a nice change. Our waitress was all business but there was a gentleman there all smiles. They know the locals very well and are even able to guess their orders. The Thai heat ratings are spot on so medium is hot, hot is really hot and Thai hot is ?

This is by far the best Thsj food we’ve had on the island! Fresh, delicious peanut sauce, wonderful flavors, good spice levels. And all served in a charming spot on a local street. I kept stealing bites of my partner’s food!

Wow! I haven't had authentic delicious Thai food since I moved to the Island! Today I tried the Chicken pad Thai (medium spice) and the fried chicken rice (med hot spice) and both were amazing! The pad Thai was sweet & spicy- honestly the best I've had in my life!

Probably hands down the best Thai food around . Nope it's not cheap , but nothing is in Hawaii. A definite go to stop ! be sure to swing by if rolling though or if new in town , it's a new staple . Friendly , authentic and ambiance when you have time to sit is nice and for sure .... fully "Puna" Thumbs up guys . Thanks for being an important part of old Pahoa Town .

We stopped here on our way to pick up a quick lunch. We were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was! We got the Pad Kee Mao and it was extremely flavourful. Be careful with the spice level though, they definitely mean business with their spice :
