A definite must if your in the area. Caught them just as they opened and only 2 other people in store. I got the birthday cake which was sooo good. Was able to sample the coffee flavored which I immediately regretted not getting. Very creamy and noticeably different from your normal icecreams! Parking is a little tough, but was an easy in and out. Clean and very friendly staff that was able to expand on the popular flavors and suggestions.
Best ice cream i’ve had! The consistency and quality is amazing. Chocolate & coconut ube are my favorites. I like how the flavors change every so often, lots of great options. Nice interior as well. The service is always wonderful too!

An interesting little ice cream shop. I had their cookie mixed ice cream and tried a little of the salted caramel flavor. Quite excellent. It was kind of slow when we went so we got our ice cream almost immediately which was great. Since it was slow there was also plenty of seating available. If it is busy there might not be as much seating available. Overall a great experience and would recommend for those wanting to try something different.

We got the flight of ice cream which was a great price and the service was really good. The flavors felt like they needed a little tweaking. The salted caramel was a little too salty, the coconut could have used something to balance it better. Cookies and cream was our favorite. Cake butter was yummy but tasted more like plain vanilla. The honey ice cream was pretty good too.

If you like exotic ice cream flavors, black sheep cream is for you. The flavors are always changing. The shop is very cute! The service is amazing!

The shop is small but there are a number of seats available to sit and enjoy your ice cream and it is clean. They have interesting flavors, and on this visit, they had a black sesame, cookie butter, 3 different variations of coffee, and green tea with strawberry swirl, to name a few.
Ice cream flavors are creative and very delicious! The gentleman that helped us, Joseph, was very helpful in providing education about the different flavors and flavor combinations. He also gave us a free sample of the July flavor of the month, strawberry matcha! I'm not typically a matcha fan but it was subtle enough that I would consider ordering it on our next visit. This visit my heart was set on cereal killer and guilty of strobbery.We are frequent visitors of the Black Sheep Waipio and Koolina locations. We often purchase to-go pints. This particular location and visit was probably the most informative and engaging we've had in our years as patrons. Not that the other locations are subpar, but the customer service we received at this location was above and beyond; the flavor combination suggestions was most helpful! The store itself was well maintained and with ample space if you wanted to stay in-store to enjoy your snack. Not too noisy, there may have been soft music playing? In terms of other seating options, there are quite a bit of tables and chairs available outside if you prefer. The outside seating is behind the storefront and surprisingly shielded from the busy-ness that is California ave. Lots of parking in the designated area behind the building. Truly worth the stop if you're in the area!

This is specifically for the Wahiawa location. 1st issue: only 4 flavors available 2nd issue: the young boy has no sense of customer service or politeness3rd issue: more notice and communication needs to happen. We went there to have some ice cream. Our group was the only one in the shop. There was no hi! Welcome. The boy behind the counter seemed like he didn't want to be there. There were only 4 flavors on the board. We all talked in front of him and all of us talked about the same flavor. He NEVER ONCE mentioned he only had enough for ONE PERSON. if he had, then we would have left immediately. He also didn't even apologize when he ran out and knew that that's what we were planning on ordering. We will never go here again.

A friend recommended we stop by, so we did. We only got one scoop of the mocha ice cream, and it was delicious! We thought two scoops were needed, but one was more than enough for the two of us. The ambiance and atmosphere inside is incredible! The staff is friendly and fast! Good spot to stop by for ice cream. Men, beware! They have a sign showing women tip better than men!
