Ordered from this place off of Uber Eats and was definitely not let down. I ordered the carne asada fries and the California burrito. Both were absolutely delicious and the portion size was great. This may be my new Mexican food order spot!

I have been to javi's Mexican Grill multiple times. The family likes it. I on the other hand think it's okay. Like 3.5 okay. One of my favorite is the torta. Not just like any other the bread is flatter but fresh. The chips and salsa or subpar needs more spice for me. I do recommend the asada torta. Service was great and space was open and different from the last time I went.

Waaaay over priced for the quality and quantity. Never again. Better Mexican food elsewhere for the price. Meat was chewy and tough.

By far the only Hispanic restaurant on island that is actually good. And the people are so awesome. Love this place!

So far this is the best Mexican we've had in the area. Service was quick and friendly. The only thing that was off was a smell of the restaurant seemed a little weird. Otherwise everything was great.

This place is great! The food, the staff, the churros, all great! Big portions, tasty foods. We’ve been here a few times and it’s great every time.
Got the Carne Asada Fries complete trash and poor quality. Won't be back.

The food here is always tasty. My wife gets the veggie burrito most times and I really enjoy the enchiladas. Great rice and beans. Would like more chips when getting them to go, but the salsa is fantastic. Lots of onions and cilantro. We live close to Honolulu but see Javi's as our Mexican food go-to whenever we up in the area.

Based on other reviews I feel like we were in a different restaurant. First time here and not impressed. The food was more expensive than expected. No ala cart items. Every little thing extra costs more - carne asada or carnitas instead of shredded beef is + $3. for a two-taco plate. Chips and salsa is $4.50. Extra. No salsa with the tacos. The place did not smell like there was Mexican food cooking in the back. I think the birria tacos were made ahead and reheated. They were greasy and not very hot. The birria sauce was cold. Very little meat in the tacos and not very flavorful. I definitely would not come back.

What a great place to stumble upon! Fantastic food. I had a CHIMICHANGA and an burrito combo plate $15.95. Well worth the stop. I loved the atmosphere and just an all around quaint place. Food was fresh, and delicious with generous portions.
