Pua Cake Studio

So, these cupcakes are delicious, but the inconsistency of times and being open vs not being open really sucks. This is now the 3rd time in 4 months that we've driven out here and it's states they are open but they're not when we arrive.

1 out of 3 times they were open when coming.

We wanted to get some cupcakes for our daughter’s 5th birthday and didn’t want to get a store bought package with tons of sugary icing, we wanted to get ones with real buttercream frosting.We also didn’t want to get a super fancy cupcake flavor wise, we wanted just plain vanilla or chocolate.After sampling 5 different cupcake places (we like to have excuses to eat cupcakes), our family all liked Pua Cake Studio’s cupcakes the best. The texture, flavor, and decoration were perfect.We got 3 dozen mini chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, and one dozen mixed fruit mini cupcakes. They were a huge hit at the party and several parents were asking where we got the cupcakes from. The kids were too busy eating cupcakes to talk.We ordered them online a week in advance and went to pick it up on a Saturday. There was a small hiccup with our order but the owner quickly got us the correct order and threw in some extra cupcakes to apologize for the mixup. She was extremely helpful and nice. For me, mistakes are always possible, it’s how a business deals with a mistake that counts!I would highly recommend Pua Cake Studio! It’s a local business that is run with care and their quality is wonderful.

Absolutely beautiful cakes!! We got this gorgeous 6” cake to celebrate our wedding and it was so delicious. It is in a bit of a hidden spot but it’s worth hunting down! They are open to public on weekends and then only to pick up orders during the week.

Parking: Small parking area reserved for shops in the area. Luckily it seems most of the spots were empty

We hired Pua Cake Studio for our wedding and it was perfect! We had a two tier cake as well as mini cupcakes and they were all DELICIOUS. Highly recommend the lilikoi flavor especially.

Best cupcake ever ?

I had very high expectations.
The icing had a very good consistency BUT the flavor just wasn’t it, and the icing in all cupcakes tasted the same. The cupcake itself wasn’t good either.

I’m honestly very disappointed with my purchase. $22 on 6 cupcakes that I didn’t even finish

Their frosting isn't too rich, making their tangy lilikoi cake is a perfect “one more bite” at the end of a grand meal.They have a strawberry flavor that reminds me of a more Japanese style jam than an American style jam. Pairs well with their vanilla cake! The vanilla has a lot of vanilla flavor.Coffee flavor is a must have!! A sweet not too bitter yet deeply flavorful.I'll speak Japanese. These cakes are really delicious! !

Needed a last minute cake since my last baker was closed and she had one available in the flavor I liked . She pulled through fast in an hour and better than expected . Normally she said she needs advance notice . Jamie is amazing ! Daughter loved her cake and her lilikoi cupcakes is amazing !

Wanted to get a cupcake for my birthday and found this place. Very cute on the inside, had various flavors to choose from. I got two of the red velvet, very delicious! Buttercream was smooth and creamy, red velvet was moist. Flavor was delicious and not overpowering either. Buttercream isn’t overly sweet, it’s nice a subtle.
