My only complaint is it is hard to order because the food is so good. Every time I hike Mali pillbox I come here and whenever my mom flies she DEMANDS come here or else she'll demand I call her 6x a day.
In reality this place is amazing and is worth the value. They make everything g great though I usually order the breakfast. If I don't eat here than I didn't come to West Oahu.

I think we've decided we're not having supper in your tiny little tavern any longer . Your entire staff walls around looking at people sideways entire time we sit down at the table for supper. You may have mold in the restroom walls I get a headache when I go in there

Excellent food and service. They could tell we were tourists and wanted to ensure we enjoyed our food so they gave us samples of Poi and Kalua pork when we asked if they were good. Very attentive and nice folks. Excellent price and lots of food for what you get, we ordered Kalbi, kalua pork, poke with poi, and bibimbap. Everyone had leftovers and took it for tomorrow’s lunch!
This place has really good food there and it's not expensive. As of now, my favorite is their hamburger steak. I'm a big dude & that fills me up.
A classic diner on the Westside. 5 page menu. From Hawaiian food, to local favorites and breakfast. Good portions, taste and service. A must visit in Waianae.
The food is delicious. I had the Kalua Pork and cabbage. Portions are appropriate for the money. In fact, I took the rest to go and got two meals out of it. I appreciate the casual, yet quality, approach of the restaurant and that it is local vibes rather than tourist. There were a number of flies during our entire time eating inside the restaurant.
Tripe stew with rice. So ono my comfort food. The waitresses are always lovely and kind, and show you Aloha all the time. I'm leaving to live in Florida. I will miss all my local food. I will miss Hannara's and Little House of Beauty where I cut my hair. Go see Lei, she is awesome. I will miss Waianae.
If you're visiting near the area, it's a great local escape from the typical tourist crowd. Portions worth the price you pay and plenty of room for groups.
Want the best Kahlua pork on the island? Go to Hanara Restaurant in West Oahu. It is absolutely the most moist & tasty Kahlua I’ve had in Hawaii!!! Delicious!!! I get the kahlua omelette and fried rice! To die for!!! My daughter teaches at Waianae Middle School so I get to come here every time I visit her.

Nice hole in the wall local restaurant with some of the friendliest servers around. Local food favorites served here, like hamburger steak, barbeque chicken, meat/fish Jun, tripe stew, they also serve liver and onions w/ bacon just to name a few.

Ordered at sirloin steak (medium) with eggs and a side order of French Toast. My steak was raw in the center with no seasoning and cut strangley down the center.
My French Toast did not come with real butter but some kind of flavorless cheap margine. I believe I even acquired a kitchen plus card surcharge.
I didn't bother going back after I got home I just used my own butter and microwaved the steak for a minute.

Had the Hawaiian platter, came with lau lau, kalua pig in broth, lomi salmon, their beef stew, and two scoops rice. I'm absolutely stuffed afterwards, and the food was delicious.
Decently priced overall.
Just wish they had a radio playing or something.

Best casual restaurant in Waianae.
Always dine in or take out with the family. Reminds me of a great diner style restaurant with Hawaiian food offerings
