Don’t recommend driving all that way it was not worth it. We were the only ones there for a while and it too forever to be served, our waitress was more concerned with standing behind the bar chatting then checking on us and never refilled our waters. Finally after about a hour the hostess came to help. the coke and sprite we got weren’t carbonated and were just syrup and the loco moco rice wasn’t fully cooked and was crunchy. drinks were also super small for the price. One of the servers was taking selfies when other customers were coming in. It was hot mess??

Absolutely amazing food, service, and live music. Got there at 7 for our reservation and no wait. Our first order got there very fast. I would recorder everything we had: poke nachos, medium rare loco moco with fried rice, house burger medium rare with grilled onions and strawberry cheesecake. Best loco moco I’ve ever had. Poke nachos were up there. Burger was very good with aioli sauce. The garlic truffle fries were average but still good. The cheesecake was super good, perfect size for two who just ate a lot. We didn’t finish our food to leave room for dessert. Great spot, highly recommend!

Today we decided to try something new and after a long Google search we found this place in the Top Ratings.

Location 7/10
Parking was a little complicated but we managed to find a spot for ourselves. It's easy to find but I think they need a slightly larger sign since they have many food establishments in one place.

We ordered the Poke Nachos and El Cuarto grilled chicken
Poke was delicious ? I loved it I would eat it again
The good grilled chicken was delicious but it said a quarter chicken and it only came with one breast. Papa's mash was delicious, the sweet potato mash was not good, it lacked flavor and was too dry.

What can we say, today's generation does not have manners or knowledge to treat adults. A little sympathy wouldn't hurt, I remember to keep the drinks topped up and check to see if we need anything a little more often. To bring the ticket was super fast we even laughed for that simple gesture

The place is almost perfect, I would only say that the music is not the best

But anyway, don't hesitate to visit the place, we all have different opinions and different expressions.

The pork chop, garlic mash was awesome and the Ribeye super good. This little drinks Halloween special good good. Service is would put 5 of 5 but I understand this place was packed and they forgot my salad but it's OK cuz it was alot of food.

Parking: Easy to park for free but get here earl cuz is a good spot live music.

Far drive from town, second floor view of beach, AC and tiny bathrooms, only tv for sports is behind the bar. Cloth napkins with utensils at every table. Monthly seasonal drinks ~$15. The october special blood bag got warm since theres no ice, they offered a glass of ice to keep warm, you gotta squeeze it to drink. The skull margarita had a lot of liquid with gummy worm/brain and flashing light. The calamari tasted fresh, served with cocktail sauce. The poke nachos had homemade won ton chips, fish tasted fresh. Fri-Sun they have prime rib plate (which looked bomb).

Was not expecting the wonderful experience that awaits you upstairs. Great cocktail menu, great server/bartender and great value for the money. Loved their Halloween themed cocktails!

We had an incredible evening at Lanterns Restaurant and Bar! The food was absolutely excellent, and the drinks? Amazing! If you go, you *have* to ask for the Patron Tower—such a fun and delicious drink. But what really made the night unforgettable was the spectacular view of the sunset from our table. It was picture-perfect! The service was also top-notch—super friendly and prompt, making us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back for another visit. It is a drive if your staying in Waikiki and you'll want to leave before rush hour, but Lanterns is a must-try if you're in the area!

The food was not good at all this time… The cheeseburger was burnt outside; inside, it was raw and gooey. The lobster tail was rubbery and chewy. Also, the oysters tasted old. I'm just unhappy with all the food. The manager came back. She did her best to bring us back some more food but didn’t want to. Everybody didn’t like the food, said it cold. so we just complained, accepted it, and paid for it. But the drinks were good, and she was very nice. It’s too bad because everything was good the last time I was here. I'm not sure what happened this time.

The staff here create a warm and welcoming environment. The food is flavorful, fresh and worth stopping for. This will be a for sure stop every time I visit the islands.
