Vons Chicken Waianae

My son ordered a plate with “snow” flavored fried chicken which was fried chicken with this onion cheese powder on it and he told me it was the best fried chicken he’s ever had! It was crispy but not hard and the chicken itself was juicy and cooked perfectly. Then there’s the flavor of the “snow”, it didn’t taste like I thought it would but it was so good. A little bit sweet though so if you don’t like that you could get one of the other flavors. The plate also came with rice, corn, and 2 mandu’s. The mandu’s were small but very tasty, they were crispy and again not hard. I would 100% recommend this place and we will definitely be going back again to try some of the other flavors. The price was also really good, around $12.50 for the whole plate including tax which is a very good deal. The cashier was also really nice, my son was trying to figure out what flavor to get and asking him all these questions and he answered them all. He was nice and gave my son more of the “snow” powder for free because he liked it so much. I took the picture I attached after my son ate most of it already so it looks a lot better when you just get it ?

Upon entry and walking up to the counter, the young woman standing behind the counter just stared at us and said not a word. We placed our order and got the crispy fried wings and the crispy fried shoyu wings. Also the honey butter fries. While waiting for our food to be prepared, we sat at one of the tables and the top of it was very sticky. Our order came up and other than her calling us to the counter to come get it, we only heard her speak to us when telling us the price of our order. She spoke perfect English from what I could tell when speaking to other employees. The food itself was good, the honey butter fries were ok. My wife liked them better than I did.

When I tell you this place is better than Wingstop, I'm not even lying! We got the Garlic Wings, Shoyu Wings, Snow Fries & Strawberry Boba & everything was 10/10 delicious! The snow fries are amazing!! If you haven't ordered from here yet, don't wait! Go get you some amazing crunchy, flavorful chicken! The older gentleman who helped us is very nice, there's tons of parking, and there's seats inside in case you wanted to eat it.This is now one of our new favorite wing places! Definitely coming back here for sure!

This place have delicious wings, fries and mandoo, but I recently visited on Saturday morning with my family, I was very disappointed because the wings weren't cooked all the way through. I had to let cashier and manager know and get a refund. Sept.23,2023 and I am still waiting for my refund.

I'm obsessed with korean fried chicken. And this place hands down Ono. No soggy fries here. Nice and crispy. The chicken is "broke da mouth" Ono licous! Price is reasonable and the price too. Good customer service "jay" I believe is his name was awesome and easy to talk story with. Will be a dedicated returning customer supporting the west side businesses!

I called them they gave me attitude and I ordered half of the snow chicken and it was raw like it's pink in the inside I do not recommend buying from them anymore bad customer service.

I had the Crispy fried Shoyu Chicken. Omg it’s the bomb. I will be going back to try all of it.

The garlic chicken is amazing and is my absolute favorite. The spicy chicken is also so delicious. I highly recommend the boneless so you can just munch the fresh made to order hot crispy chicken. So yummy.
