Came here for a special birthday celebration and couldn't have been more pleased. from the start our server, Chelsie was excellent. Very pleasant and personable. I had the Swordfish special that n night and it was excellent. The others in our group were also very pleased. Ambiance was perfect, as we were seated outside near the water with a great sunset. Highly recommend the Browns Beach House.

Our experience at Brown's Beach House was absolutely wonderful. The ambiance was incredible and felt like we were in a film. The gorgeous views, the soft music and glow from the Tiki torches which light up the dining space sets the tone for a true one of a kind experience. The food was delicious, we had 5 people all order different selections and each was outstanding. I enjoyed the Ribeye which was cooked to perfection and was without a doubt one of the best cuts of meat I've ever had. The service was impeccable and they were so kind and generous to acknowledge and celebrate our special occasion. We were gifted a lovely array of desserts and even had a lovely visit from the management team who gifted our son some local treats and gifts on behalf of the Fairmont. We dined here on the last night of our trip to the island and this will remain a highlight of our vacation for years to come. An absolute MUST if you are visiting the Big Island.

The food was amazing. A bit pricey but it is ocean view restaurant in Hawaii. The lobster pasta dish was melt in your mouth delicious. Nice group of selections. The server was fantastic. Kind and funny. Also knowledgeable about menu and wines. I will definitely be back.

Great ambiance, although live music stopped shortly after we arrived, but it was just beautiful surrounded by water and gorgeous flora. Quite pricey for some of the menu items, $80 for a relatively small piece of fish (the special) was over the top. But overall it was a good experience. Be prepared for a very long walk to BBH if you're not a guest, the parking lot is quite a distance!

We had the Ti Leaf Wrapped Kanpachi and Dry Aged Ribeye as our entrees and were very pleased. Watching the sun set from this amazing view just completed the evening. We look forward to coming back here next time.
