Excellent atmosphere! Steak quality was ok at best. Oysters were fresh. Definitely an experience for the location.

Always wanted to try this place and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful dining experience seeing the sunset and enjoying the unique cuisine. We had the seafood tower and tried the tasting menu. Drinks were also great. The service was wonderful and one of the best parts of our experience. Thank you CanoeHouse!

We dined at some exceptional restaurants all over Hawaii during our trip - CanoeHouse topped them all. Incredible flavor and creative dishes served with good portions, beach-front ambiance, amazing service. Would highly recommend! We had the Ahi Warayaki (the sauce!), chicken, wagyu bavette, and sides of garlic fried rice and roasted carrots. 11 out of 10.

Location and ambience is totally five star.....be there when the sun drops into the Pacific. The quality of the food, the presentation, the creativity and more was six star. Our server Ian made this evening one to remember....knowledgeable, patient, timely and very professional!!!!!

This was our best meal so far in 2025, we did their tasting menu along with adding on the Milk Bread and Garlic Fried Rice. Every single item we tried was impeccably crafted for a flavor profile that was perfection. The plating was done artfully with great presentation. The service was out of this world and their drink and wine selection was incredible. 100/10 would come back to the Island just for another meal here.

This is the in our opinion the best restaurant on the island. The service and food are phenomenal. Need to bring back the Crab legs - was very disappointed that was no longer an option.

Everything was wonderful with one exception. I ordered a tenderloin steak cooked medium. I asked the server what medium ment to them. She said pink throughout. It came very rare. I sent it back and it came back charred on the outside, but very rare on the inside. I sent it back again. The server agreed it was still very rare. It came back for the third time, still rare. I could eat the edges, but not the center. They didn't charge me for the steak, but why can't they get it right.?

Location is breathtaking. Server over sold us on options. Food was very disappointing especially considering cost. Nothing special. Cost was outrageous.

The hotel and the restaurant restaurant was very beautiful. The ambiance was great. The food was very tasty and fresh. The seasoning were very unique. We enjoyed the bread, salads, the fish and the lamb chops.

Dinner was absolutely fantastic. We had the shrimp dish, Kona Kampachi dish, roasted carrots and crispy potatoes sides. Everything was so very yummy! Never had potatoes like that. They were amazing.

The canoe house is definitely top drawer. It is our second visit. We actually had our wedding night dinner at this restaurant 24 years ago. The views are spectacular. The weight staff was very friendly and the food was excellent.
