A must stop on each visit to the island. This trip we were welcomed by Chantel, who informed us we arrived before opening. We took advantage and strolled the black sand beaches. When the restaurant opened we returned and Mel joined in on the fun. For the next couple of hours we felt as though we spent time with Ohana as we feasted on excellent food (the sampler platter is a must), and enjoyed the selection of the beer wall. We hugged our servers and wished them well before deparing...
It's a cute place, and I bet the tourists love it.. but I was charged 50$ for a sampler plate and a coffee (they didn't end up having coffee). The meat was dry, the rice was tough and cold, and the chili was bland. The BBQ sauce is fantastic, though. Won't be coming back
