Came for the Mango Sticky Rice, stayed for the Papaya Sticky Rice! Rice was so flavorful and the papaya was perfectly ripe. Not too much sauce so it’s “not too sweet”. Worth the stop if you are coming or going to the Waimea Canyon.
This was one of my favorite finds in Hawaii! I stopped here because I saw the coconut stand and got excited. The staff directed me to choose my own coconut and then they opened it for me and popped a straw in it. It was so fresh and tasty! I also had a vanilla shaved ice with a coconut cream cap and it was amazing, not too sweet but super flavorful. The real showstopper was the sticky rice, I will truly never forget it. I had pineapple sticky rice because they were out of mangoes...
the mango smoothie was where it was at. I mixed it with pineapple because we didn't have enough ripe mangoes to fill the smoothie but it was still mega delicious, had also the sticky mango rice which was over indulgent but very fresh mangoes, and the sliced pineapple which was okay. had better looking for the golden pineapple elsewhere, definitely would come for the smoothies
