Sadly, all good things must come to an end. I’ve touted the roast pork from here as being the best in the state, and I’ve tried every place on every island I could. The cut was consistent with the perfect layering of meat and fat with a perfect crackling; crispy not a football. Since my last visit they have changed ownership and altered the formula. It’s not the same. I enjoyed this for 15 years. Now I’ll keep on searching and try back again when I’m over on that end of the island. Remember when Coke tried to become New Coke and almost lost the company? If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

Food is ok, it's a fast food Chinese place in a strip mall. They have decent choices and prices are reasonable. Portion size is big and filled me up, flavor left a lot to be desired but ok for a quick stop and food. Mall bathrooms were clean.Vegetarian options: Stir fry veggies available also some tofu dish.Parking: Plenty of strip mall style parking

This place has mostly bad food. The only exception was the eggplant, chicken, and tofu stir fry. Everything else was bland to inedible. The egg rolls were exceptionally bad - crispy on the outside but filled with some kind of vegetable goop on the inside. Will never be going back. One star.

Solid food, decent prices, good service. If you're looking for a faster option in Waimea order from the buffet menu here. Food off the buffet takes a little longer but it's also fresher. Hours are long which is a bonus too.

Haven’t been in years, new ownership, fresh food, yummy, will go back!

New ownership, food was terrible! I would not recommend and I won't be coming back. So disappointing because we used to enjoy coming here for years but it's just not the same at all.

I am sorry to write this- Don's Waimea in food court is under new ownership and the food is not good as of Juy 2022. We have gone to Don's for over 20 years and my family grew up craving their orange chicken. Have tried 3 times in last 30 days to give them a chance and each time the food tasted bad. The orange chicken is stringy and dry (had to throw away each time), the beef broccoli was over cooked and not crunchy and the portions were significantly smaller. I am so sad. Not going back.

My mother wanted to try this place in Waimea at the food court. We should have suffered less and gone to Village Burger to wait forever and a day instead. Both of our Chinese plates were uneventful and just blah... When neither of us can finish our plates even when we were starving that is all that needs to be said. This place makes Panda Express seem like real gourmet food.

Kind of pricey. But like others have said the char sui roast pork is amazing. Wontons are great. Cookies are great. Service is very fast as most items are already prepped
