Delicious! My all-time favorite huli huli chicken. Koala moa and others are great, but GJs is amazing! Always hot, fresh, fast, and tasty! If I’m ever near Waimea on a weekend, GJs is a must stop.

Terrible ribs. All tough, chewy flap meat and unrendered fat. Wasted $18. Can't believe they would serve it. Chicken was ok...mac salad is watery and gross. This place is for tourists who want to take pictures with the chicken.

Woah, we stopped by at a whim during a time it wasn't too busy (which is still busy, but quick service!) and the pork ribs were PHENOMENAL! A great pit stop before you hit Hilo!

Heard about this place and had to try. Long line when we got there so you know it's good. Only open limited hours because they sell out so quickly. All food to go and cooking and smoking right there on the grills. Super good and juicy. Over flowing plate.

Huli chicken is one of the most delicious foods you can find in Hawaii. A huli was described to me as the Hawaiian word for something you do not want to do with your car, but for rotisserie chicken slow-cooked while rotating over a smoky kiawe wood fire, it is awesome. Gj's is always moist, tender, and incredibly good. They set up as a roadside stand on weekends in the liquor store parking lot, so not many points for atmosphere, but get your huli chicken and take it down to Hapuna beach, where you can eat it with a scenic view. Mine often smells so good in the car that not much of it actually makes it to the beach.
