At first, we didn't know what to make of this place. First impression looks like a curiosity shop, but keep going and there is a diner with a harbor view in the back. Tammy welcomed us in and provided great service.
We ordered the fish tacos and were surprised and delighted from the first bite. Fresh made taco shells, fresh fish -seemingly right off the boat - homemade picante sauce. Every bite was bursting with homemade deliciousness!!
This place also offers refreshing Dole Whip floats. My husband had a coconut option and I tried the passion fruit. So good!
A must stop for any west side Big Island visit.

Really friendly welcoming staff, awesome vibe, delicious melt in your mouth burger using local beef from the island. She said they get three fresh deliveries a week! We got the special (drink, burger on a brioche bun, choice of homemade sauces, and onion rings/fries). It was delicious! Every single person we encountered who worked here was enjoyable to interact with. We made the right choice by visiting.

Beef tacos were deeeelicious!! 😋 Super crunchy shells, lots of cheese and lettuce, with some sort of creamy sauce, and a huge cup of salsa!! And the girl who took my order was soooo kind and sweet!! Definitely recommend!
Do not mention the automatic 15% service charge added to the bill (neither written or oral).

In the future would avoid AT ALL COSTS. Was kicked out of the restaurant despite being a paying customer because my wife decided to order from the fish market next door instead of the grill. The manager gave us the option for us to eat our food here but she would either have to leave or stop eating. Never had that experience at a restaurant and will never be returning. Food is good but very small portions.

Not worth the money. We stopped in on our way back to our hotel. It was busy which was appealing to us. I got the fresh fish tacos- they were lacking flavour - the coleslaw on them had a dressing that was way to liquidity. There was no hot sauce or any form of sauce for the tacos. You get one slice of radish per taco (this is the garnish…) You get two tacos for $24 USD ( craziness- considering the tacos are pretty small- no side etc.). The shell was very oily. My husband got a burger and onion rings- nothing amazing for the price. The burger was almost 15 USD with no sides. The onion rings were over cooked and $8 USD. They also charge a 15% service charge. Subpar food for just about $60 USD. Seems like robbery for what you get. We are big foodies and this is not worth it at all.
