I was a little worried when I got there and they didn't have much left in their show case but it turns out there was a reason for that. This place is great. We tried a couple sandwiches and some donuts and every single thing was amazing. I was sad that we found it so for to the end of our trip. Will definitely be stopping there tomorrow before our flight leaves. They still limit it to four guests inside which I enjoyed with as many people that we saw on our trip that were sick.

We walked to Mama Bear’s from the Waimea Plantation Cottages for breakfast and it was well worth the walk. We both had the Monte Bear Cristo and devoured it quickly. There are a couple tables next to this food truck and many to go orders being filled. Next time we’ll try something for lunch!

Went here due to the reviews, may be didn’t get the right things, food was more grease than food. I had the Da burrito and husband had the smash burger. The burger patty itself was good. I have had a stomach ache since eating Da burrito :(. I only ate a few bites due to how greasy it was. The folks running it were super sweet. Service was really good and quick. Prob a great place for those who like a heavier meal.

Just got off the Na Pali boat tour and were starving! Randomly drove by this food truck and my husband made a quick u-turn. We couldn't have chosen a better burger! It was so good! Please don't think twice about stopping for a great burger. And the tables to eat there were CLEAN!

Da Bearrito was StUfFed with fresh chorizo, cheese yumminess 🤤& grilled crispy with more cheese💕 Party Also had the burger 5/5, & ahi tuna toast- outstanding, but I concentrated on mine 😜 Perfect follow up after hike in the canyon 🤙🌄 Great service too, all came out hot & wonderful!

Mama Bear’s Kitchen is hands down one of the best food stops we’ve had in a long time! My husband and I ordered a mushroom Swiss smash burger and a chicken Caesar, and both were absolutely out of this world. The burger was juicy, loaded with flavor, perfectly smashed with crispy edges, and topped with melty Swiss and savory mushrooms. The Caesar was fresh and flavorful, and you could tell every ingredient was chosen with care.
While we were waiting for our fresh fries to finish cooking in the fryer, they even brought our dogs their own unseasoned burger patty. Such a thoughtful touch and so rare to find that level of kindness and hospitality these days.
This place is Hawaiian owned, and the passion for food and community shows. The owner and his chef Bob, a former professional in fine dining, clearly know what they are doing. Everything is cooked perfectly and served with genuine aloha. Whether you are local or just visiting, this is a must try spot. Support local, eat amazing food, and leave happy just like we did.

Very yummy! Went Monday 8/4 party of 4 with 2 kids also. Had the smash burger, gourmet burger, everything bear, and boujee flatbtead, all were fantastic! They served some breakfast items after the 10am cutoff which was so nice! Very friendly staff. Loved that they used compostable boxes. No place to sit, and few picknick tables would be a nice addition.

Smash burger with avocado, fried egg and fried jalapeños was the best burger of my life and I love burgers so I try burgers all the time! Highly recommend the ube sorbet! It was so good!
