This place had great reviews and was very near where I was currently located and I had the cravings for Korean food. Upon arriving, I couldn't find the "Bibimbap House" and found out they may have changed business name. I pulled up to this place called "Korea Foody" which is the same exact place. The menu was different. I was hoping to order the Dolsot Bibimbap but didn't see that on their menu, there was only Hot Stone Bibimbap or Regular Bibimbap. I ended up ordering the Hot Stone Bibimbap, taste wise, it was okay. I thought that maybe having it on a Hot Stone dish would add a nice crispy rice touch of texture but instead the dish tasted more dry and it could've used more flavor. I also ordered the kimchee and seafood pancakes, which were good! However it never came with any dipping sauce as I see in some of these review photos? The sides, kimchee, daikon, and sprouts were tasty! Wish there were more sides but 3 was all we got!

We were having a family dinner and the kids wanted Korean food. We decided to order take out from Bibimbap House as my Brother-in-Law orders from them often. I made the order about an hour before pick up and was greeted by a lady on the phone. She was really nice and even called me back to ask if it was okay to combine my orders that were doubled. Great customer service! When I got to the restaurant, I was greeted by the female who took my order. She was so nice and an older male was my cashier. Loved that he double checked the written receipt with the printed receipt. Awesome! I only waited about 5 minutes and she even taped everything down so that it wouldn't spill. The inside dining area was nice and modern looking. It appeared very clean and had a great ambiance (low light and quiet). At 530pm, there was a family of four inside and another couple waiting for their take out order. We ordered: 1. BBQ Chicken - tasty 2. Kalbi - tasty and cooked well 3. Chicken Katsu - good amount of chicken 4. Meat Jun - thinly sliced meat but good 5. Mandoo - great filing and good size 6. Chap Chae - yummy and mixed well 7. Dolsot Bibimbap (Vegatable) - very very yummy, my favorite 8. Kimchee Pajeon (Pancake) - had a crisp on it and has a little kick but so so good 9. Chajang Mien (noodle with black bean sauce) - no flavor at all The food was really good and tasty. Out of all the dishes that we ordered, the only one thing that we didn't really care for was the Chajang Mien. I've had it at other places and was excited to try it but it was very bland. My favorite was the vegatarian dolsot bibimbap. The flavors were so good, you need to try it. Our total came out to $184 for the dishes we ordered. I doubled the chicken katsu, meat Jun, and mandoo as their portions are not too much. I would definitely come back and would also try to dine in, but would not order the Chajang Mien.

It's in the Waipahu neighborhood but once you walk in you are greeted by cute Korean couple. The woman was so sweet and helpful. The stone pot came out hot and made the rice crispy. The meat jun was cut into tiny pieces and you get 2 big pieces with your order. It was nice lunch spot with a couple or small group. It's easy to walk in since they have many tables open. The banchan was kimchi and radish. Support local and support the local people!

Looked forward to eating Korean food at this location after reading wonderful YE reviews and experiencing pleasant phone etiquette regarding advance dinner reservation from a sweet lady. Waited about ten minutes before Server arrived to bring cups of water and take our orders. Server sincerely apologized to us saying she's not used to everyone coming in one time. Observed a table of 5 guests that received their food first, another table of 4 that got their order second, then us a party of 3. Ratio 12 people: 1 server. Had to ask Server three times so our child could start eating his meat jun and rice, "May we please have a fork?" Highlight was Dolsot Bibimbap arrived piping hot in stone pot and indeed tasty. Banchan arrived same time with our meals. Pickled daikon and radish were on point. However, kim chee was too crunchy for our palate. Meat was tasty and sliced thin. Unfortunately, meat jun batter tasted like scrambled egg and needed to be cooked longer. Server was very courteous and asked if we wanted refills for our water and banchan. We graciously accepted. We're the last ones to arrive and leave, yet being mindful time is near COB. Three staff thanked us as we're leaving.

There was a pho place near here that I wanted to try, however they were closed, so I passed by this place to try it out. Fortunately, I'm glad I did. They got Legit mandoo and Bibimbap hot and fresh from the stone. I love it when you scrape the bottom for the rice to get that crunch. Their sides are good too from the kimchi and radish, their rice was really good too. Korean places Ive been going to weren't as good as this, I see more visits here in the future.

On the west side for the weekend get away. We've heard about this place since the beginning of the year and finally stopped by to check them out. Their open for dine in now (thumbs up). Family owned and that a huge plus!! The owners are husband and wife, their the sweetest and most friendly couple. The ambience so pleasant, seating arrangements are distance from one another, table came with a hand sanitizer too. Love where we were sitting, we could see them preparing the dishes and how hard and dedicated they both are! We had the side meat jun, dolsot bibimbap SO GOOD, of course I had their Kalbi Soup and a take order of Spicy pork. Oh and their banchan, homemade Yummo!!! The food was really good and we will definitely be back for more! Gamsahamnida

Decided to have lunch here based off of the reviews I read online and it did not disappoint! Came around lunch and were seated right away. We ordered the seafood pancake, cha chang myeon, bibim kook soo, and spicy squid stir fry. Seafood pancake was so good! Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Flavor was great. I have to say this was one of the best seafood pancakes I ever had. Cha chang myeon was good too. My friend nodded in approval as she took a bite. The bibim kook soo was another winner. Some other places got theirs a little too sweet but this one had a perfect sweetness. Lastly the spicy squid stir fry ... what can I say ... I loved it. Great flavors and loved the veggies in there as well. Squid was not overcooked which was great. Overall this place was a pleasant surprise. Food was great and the customer service was awesome. They made you feel so comfortable being there. Always checking up on us and refilling our waters without having to call them. Will most definitely be back soon to try other items on the menu.

We've been following these people since they had a restaurant in Aiea. Their food is excellent and they take care of the customer. Glad they are back to in-person dining again. My wife had the mandoo soup and I had the soft tofu soup. We added the seafood pancake. Everything was delicious including the ban chan. Definitely will be back again.

Today I went to Bibimbap House with my mom for lunch and we had a great experience. We always would past by this restaurant but never went in until today. The customer service was top tier, it was (what I assume) an elderly Korean couple who took good care of us. Very "mom and pop" run. The food was great, especially their kimchi pancake. Please support local and pop in. You won't regret it.

Always order take out. The owners are so awesome and nice over the phone. The woman calls to let me know my food is ready etc. When I pick up they're so welcoming and shows how thankful for choosing them. Food is always good for sure.

I just want to say how lovely the workers are and JUST HOW TASTY THE FOOD IS. Hands down by far, this is the best Korean restaurant on O'ahu. I'll be coming here from now on if I ever crave Korean food in the future. First off, the kimchi pancake! GIRL! It is so fluffy and soooo good! Even my boyfriend said so and he doesn't really care for kimchi pancakes. It was surprising for me to see him like Korean food for once LOL. Second, the taste of the Soon Du Bu I ordered was just the way I liked it and it is so tasty! Service: They are such lovely human beings and so adorable. Made my first experience even better. You need to try.

Came here after being recommended by Yelp for a couple of weeks. We were in the area after a doctor's appointment and errands and thought "why not try something new?" There's only a couple places we'd normally visit in Waipahu and what's the harm of trying something brand new! And verdict is - AMAZING!! So hard to find great Korean food on the west side and our usual favorite place to go is all the way in town. The kimchi chigae was flavorful and bubbling as it was being served to us. Bibimbap was subbed with chicken instead of beef as my mom prefers it. The owners were so nice and explained how to eat it and asked to taste before adding any gochujang. She was halfway through when she added a little bit for a kick! Pajeon was so fluffy inside but super crispy on the outside. The sauce it was served with was also super tasty and had a little bit of spice. Owners are so adorable and caring! They were concerned when I asked them to make the chigae spicy and started eating it right as they served it to me. But I love hot and spicy foods! They kept checking in on us, would make sure our waters were filled, and were so excited with how quickly we were eating... and we ate it ALL! We were stuffed by the end of the meal and took home the 3-4 pieces of kimchi pajeon left.
