This location specifically has showed me poor service and ice cream... The old lady always yells at the other workers and has said some rude things/insulted them in front of customers. The ice cream is delicious most of the time but has a chance of being served with frost burn.. The prices have racked up for a single scoop of ice cream this past year when I asked it's about 6$ for 4oz single scoop.

Their ice cream is great even during cold weather! I forgot my new iPhone 15 ProMax and you know what? I got it back! Owner Eddie was there waiting for me when I came back to pick it up. There were plenty of customers and people inside and outside because of a fundraiser going on in front of the shop. Thank you Eddie! I still can continue posting!

Came in on 1/7/24 and ordered one double sundae with my sister and one of the girls working stared & didn't say anything the whole entire time we were deciding and was obviously annoyed. When she was done she just slid our food across the counter and went straight back to her chair. We'll stay in Aiea

The ice cream is made on the island and sold all over at restaurants, stores such as Longs, and grocery stores such as Foodland. My favorite flavor is the green tea. Other flavors I like are the Ube, Cotton Candy, and toasted macadamia nut. This store offers more than ice cream! * Icee: I like to get the strawberry-flavored Icee float with green tea ice cream. * Soda Float * Bubble tea * Sundaes * Ice cream cakes & Pies * Shakes & Smoothies * Popcorn: My top 2 favorites are the Hurricane, its freshly popped popcorn, butter arare, and nori furikake. The Tsunami mix has everything the Hurricane has with sour cream and onion. * Diamond Head Float * Shave Ice * Halo Halo * Bon Bons * Mini Cones * Chocolate Covered Strawberries * Chocolate Grape Sticks * Grabbers: It's similar to an ice cream sandwich * Chocolate Covered Banana * Clown Cones: Ice cream, sprinkles, sugar cone, chocolate chip eyes, whipped cream, and gummy bears. It usually has ample free parking and it's located next to Foodland and Teaesppresso. They accept credit cards and cash. There are a few seats inside. Service is great! We go here often and usually the service is great, today the service was terrible. The girl we usually get was good like always, but the other girl ABSOLUTELY NOT! Attitude and all for no reason!!! We go to pay she walks away. As we wait for our receipt she walks away, comes back gives us the receipt with an ATTITUDE. Horrible customer service, should not be in this business if she acts like that!!! I gave 2 stars for the other girls service and the new guava flavor is delicious!!!

My son love's ube ice cream so I decided to order an ube ice cream cake from Dave's. We usually order Baskin Robbins but they don't have ube flavored ice cream cake. I've seen it on display in the past so decided to try them out. I called the order in 3 days prior and they said they could make it. They only have one size. Costs 52.35 with tax which is how much ice cream cakes usually cost depending on the size. I think the cake was 9x9 and pretty thick in regards to height. The owner chooses the cake which was white cake. It was delicious! I didn't ask for specific decorations and the cake looked pretty. He used 2 chocolate covered strawberries. We thought the balls were mochi ice cream but they were just different flavored ice cream. The only thing I disliked was the candy sprinkle decor they used. Some pieces were too hard to bite and ended spitting them out. I love supporting local and would order from them again. Dave's Ice Cream is a local Hawaii franchise and this location has a new owner as they did some renovations and finally accepts credit cards!

I went to Dave's in Waipio the other night and was surprise to see they did some renovations. They updated their menu board and painted, it looks so nice and refreshing! I bought 3 to go pints of ice cream and a Li hing mui strawberry icee, the ice cream was good like always and it was my first time trying the icee with Li hing mui, it was so so good! Met the new owner Eddie, he was really nice! I will be visiting there again! P.S. They now accept credit & debit cards.

I was very unsatisfied with my first visit here, makes me not want to go back. The servers weren't smiling at all, they didn't make me feel welcomed. It's like they were trying to rush me when I was the only customer in the store. They were very rude for no reason. I was looking at all the flavors and they were just staring at me making me feel very awkward. No communication at all from these girls. The worker slid my cup of ice cream across the table. After I paid and left, they didn't say anything at all. Somebody needs to train them again. Ridiculous.
