Haven't been to this joint in a minute. But recently made an account on Yelp and remembered my time going to HC Drive Inn. Looking through the comments Im cracking up at how all of us had that same sh*tty experience with that one Filipino blonde brat. Im not sure if she still works there but Im in with everyone about her... she always looks annoyed interacting with you and much of the time after she bags your food she fling it on the counter and that shii goes spinning and everyone goes flying around in the bag. ʻOno food, but that chick gotta beat it.

The breakfast was good but I just wish they would given more for the price. Tbh I think I should've went McDonald's instead, they're local deluxe breakfast is cheaper & much more filling than here.

Always stop by to pickup the Braddah-moco (a locomoco with corned beef w/onions, instead of the beef patty). Always to go cause the inside sitting area a bit dated with no air conditioning.

Just ordered food there yesterday. I don't think they cooked the food thoroughly. My stomachs been hurting since after I ate the food. Also the lady up front could lighten up with here attitude, she needs to practice customer service.
Local grinds right down the street from my house the cook is pretty good on the grill definitely recommend this place. Make sure you take cash they don't take card

Our review of HC drive inn in waipahu. We had Lunch today with my wife and 9 year old Granddaughter. Frankly we haven't been here for 20+years. My wife Wanda was in the mood for a Good Hamburger Steak. So we went to the HC Drive Inn.First, when you drive up. The front looks like a local drive in.But when you walk up it looks like a cigarette and Liquor Store?Second, We were Confused What is this place?We were about to leave. When someone came out of a door to the left of the window. And said come inside to order.Inside is a covered dining area, with No Service and No Restrooms. Not Good.Third, We looked on the wall at a menu and pictures of food.So we ordered.Mini Hamburger Steak with Rice and a scoop of Macaroni Salad. It was Bland and Tasteless $10.50.Fried Noodle with Mandoo. It was okay nothing special. $16.00.BBQ Chicken and Garlic Shrimp Combo with rice and macaroni salad. It was good, the BBQ Chicken was well marinated but slimey. The Garlic Shrimp was good, the rice and macaroni salad was good and a scoop of canned corn. $21.00.Total $49.50.This is way above the Priceline for a place like this with no service and no restrooms.Save Your Money and ByPass HC DRIVE INN in Waipahu.Mahalo Wes n Wanda Anzai ♥️Mililani HI. 2-22-2023
