We hired Bobby for our wedding and him and his team were absolutely amazing. The food was insanely good, our guests raved about it, the prices were extremely reasonable, and he was so professional and easy to work with (our wedding planner loves doing weddings with him because of this) If you’re like me doing an out of state wedding and stressing about not being able to taste test prior… just book them you will not regret it!!

We hired him to cater for our sunset sail welcome party and wedding. His food is INCREDIBLE! Our guests are still talking about it! We all loved his hamachi handrolls, garlic clams, and crab cakes. He is an amazing chef who is reliable, flexible and thoughtful!! We also did a late night ramen bar and he went above and beyond with all types of toppings! He even brought the entire bridal party handrolls for us to snack on while we were getting ready 😭 I highly recommend Bobby for all your catering needs!!!! He is such an easy person to work with and so sweet!

We hired Bobby to cater for our wedding, and he definitely did not disappoint! We were looking for buffet style Hawaiian food, and he does it all! Plated vs. buffet, hawaiian food vs. traditional wedding food, etc. We did a taster with him because he has a huge list of options, and everything was so good, it was hard to narrow down our choices!
On the day of our wedding, he brought his food truck to the venue and cooks everything fresh on site. They set up the buffet line and provided bamboo plates and bamboo utensils (thumbs up for sustainability) for all guests. Our favorite part? After our ceremony and before we started the grand entrance, Bobby came to check in on my hubby and I in the bridal suite with some whiskey in hand and took a celebratory shot with us! Our guests loved the food, and Bobby packed the leftovers in to-go boxes so that anyone could grab one at the end of the night.
The next day we had a beach gathering and we ordered Bento boxes from Bobby to provide for lunch. He was so sweet and drove 45mins to our beach location to drop it off for us so we didn't have to worry about picking it up early.
If you're considering Kalama's Kuisine, definitely inquire because we 100% recommend him!

I hired Bobby as a private chef for my 40th birthday celebration with friends and family. My expectations were met and exceeded big time. Bobby is such a kind and genuine person and from our first phone call I knew Bobby was the right chef. Great communication, he came up with an amazing menu that blew everyone away. I wanted a causal, fine dining experience and he delivered with a 5 course tapas style menu. He provided bento boxes for the kids the private chef night, fruit platter for breakfast the next morning and later in the week a buffet family style dinner. Made it so I could host meals but also enjoy my time. Best decision ever.
