First time here. I had a coupon from Midweek, buy one playe $13 or more and get a free plate (chicken options) food was less than $20 and indeed there were 2 plates. It was enough food to last me a week between the 2 plates (being super honest too) on top of that the food was ono, not greasy or anything like that. Chopped Steak is my recommendation as well as the Garlic Chicken plate with Crispy French Fries! The employees recommended the Garlic Chicken excellent choice. Crispy French Fries were also on point! Thank you to the staff that made my experience a great one, God bless you all for your kindness and hard work! ❤️🥰❤️‍🔥🙏🏻🙌🏻

Havent been here in a long time, located in the Waipio Shopping Center next to Big City Diner and where Blockbuster Video used to be (been vacant for years).

Prices have gone up a lot since ive last been, $13.99 for chicken plate lunches and $19.99 for a 2 choice combo plate. Wowsers....

Seen a buy one get one free coupon in the local paper so decided to try here....ordered a chicken katsu curry plate and a regular chicken katsu. Plates are made to order so there is a bit of a wait.

Like others have said, plates look good but the katsu breading is too thick. The meat separates from the outside layer and i threw most of the breading away. L&L and other places have much better chicken katsu😭

Like to support local but unfortunately doubt ill be returning.... Sorry.

Steak Is so bad. Dry. 0 flavor. Asked for a ribeye and they gave me a NY strip. Asked for all rice they gave me mac salad. I never make reviews but I had too because I was so hungry and now I have a plate of BS. BTW this was $18. My stomach gon be all sore Gaurantee

I was the first person there at opening. I ordered breakfast and a drink and it took over 30 minutes to make my order. I understand some people call in their orders before the restaurant opens, but I was not giving warning that it may take long. My initial thought going in was that if I get there and I'm first in line, then I'll get my food fast. No.

Secondly I was planning to order online because they had a couple things that interested me for breakfast. Instead I drove there to order in person, but when I asked the cashier for what i saw online, he looked at me like he didn't understand what i was talking about. I then find out that they didn't have two breakfast things that I wanted, and they were choices from the online order selection. So I didn't even get what I wanted.

Lastly, when I recieved my plate, I noticed how light it was. That's when I was over it. I paid 15.64 for 5 pieces of thing bacon and a medium drink, waited 30 minutes as first in line, and didn't get what i came for. But wait there's more. I ordered a Brisk raspberry iced tea, so sweet and delicious! NOPE. It tasted like they didn't refill the fountain drink machine with syrup. Absolutely the worst experience and will never be going there again!

I ordered the lemon chicken, expecting it to be similar to orange chicken. To my disappointment, it wasn't. It was just their chicken katsu with cold lemon sauce on the side. Having cold sauce with hot chicken is not good, to say the least. If that was the only issue, I would've been fine with having to heat the sauce up myself. Which I did, but it did not save the dish. Not only was the chicken very heavily battered, but the batter was very hard. Not crunchy, actually hard. And the chicken in this nasty batter was paper thin, so the chicken to batter ratio was way off in favor of the batter. The last time I had chicken even close to this bad was when I accidentally microwaved left over chicken strips for 5 minutes instead of 2 minutes, and they ended up very rubbery. Needless to say I will not be ordering from them again.

And before you say that I must be exaggerating because you've eaten there before and the katsu was good, all I can say is that I must've gotten a bad batch. Also, they happened to be running a buy one get one free promo on this dish, so I actually got 2 plates of the lemon chicken for the price of one. I've already checked, and it's just as bad as the first plate. Needless to say, it went straight into the trash can, because I'm not going through that twice. Anyways, it seems to be a recurring issue with ordering delivery from some of these places in that they take it for granted that you're not physically at their restaurant, which means they can give you less than their best and not have to worry about you complaining about it or returning it for a refund. Trust me, I have never been that person to make a scene when my order is wrong, but this dish they sent me was pretty much inedible, and I can't help feeling like I got ripped off, despite getting 2 plates for the price of 1. Because getting 2 plates of batter when I ordered chicken is not a very good promo.

Haven't been here in a few years since I moved but man the prices have skyrocketed and portions have gotten smaller. Not a good combo for repeat business. $20 bucks for a combo plate, crazy!!! For a takeout plate lunch.

Ordered take out. The chicken katsu. Although the meal was flavorful o prefer l&l. This is not to say the food is bad, infact it was good, just cooked different than what I found to be My favorite. Will definitely try other dishes from here. Definitely a place to try!

We love the catering pans for potluck!
Price is reasonable, great selection of meats, seafood and starchy food. Lots of free parking. Friendly staff. My favorite is the mix plate and I love the flavor of the barbecue chicken. You can request for all rice plate or Mac salad.
