The chicken is super dry and no flavor whatsoever. The old man is smoking a cigarette in the food truck. So unsanitary. Bad service. Don't waste your money buying your food at this food truck.

We had Triple RT cater for our son's graduation party and the service and food was awesome. They set of everything and everyone loved the food. I definitely recommend them to cater your party.

Me and my wife go here every time we get chicken cravings! Uncles Chicken is the BOMB! If it's your first time, try the Garlic Chicken! Crispy, flavorful, and juicy chicken. The price is fair and is much cheaper than your fast food chicken chain restaurants. As for the service, Uncle is always kind, when we sees both me and my wife, he always adds a little extra to our plate, which is awesome. Triple RTs Lunch wagon is sometimes parked by the Waipahu District Park @ Paiwa St, south of Jimmys.

My all time favorite food spots in Waipahu, good food and good people! The Tupinio's always serve the best in Filipino Family style cuisine!

We ordered 200 bentos with pancit mix. Garlic chicken, and 100 pork adobo, 100 kawali lechon for my wife's celebration of life. The food was so good and I am still getting lots of excellent compliments on their food. Highly recommend them for any event. Mahalo Russ and your

Finally made to this Food Truck in Waipahu called Triple RT's located at the Waipahu Regional Park from Monday thru Friday as I wa so excited because I really love my Fried Chicken and after seeing all these glowing reviews I definitely had to come here and see what the hype was all about. I had originally ordered the Fried Chicken and Pinakbet Mixed Plate but Uncle gave me the Pancit instead of the Pinakbet and I was kind of bummed because I love my Pinakbet especially with Fried Chicken. Anyway after getting my plate and opening up my plate, things looked very promising until further inspection looking at the Fried Chicken, they all looked like they were Refried and overcooked. And after taking one bite of my First Piece of Fried Chicken, my thoughts and initial senses came to fruition as the Fried Chicken was no where near moist nor juicy. It also lacked any type of flavor as well. Not even a faint taste of salt or pepper at all. It was bland, very bland and when the Chicken was overcooked like these pieces that I got, I had a real hard time swallowing it. Out of the 5 or 6 pieces of Fried Chicken I got, just one of the pieces of Fried Chicken was even formidable to even swallow. Also the pieces were in all different sizes. They weren't all the same size as some were really small in size. As for the Pancit that also was disappointing as it lacked any type of flavor and all and once again very bland. Luckily I found some Soy Sauce Packets in my Glove Compartment to give my Pancit some flavor that it sorely needed. Despite this very disappointing meal, the Uncle working at the Food Truck was really nice and genuine and I really want to try this place once again but I'm so gun shy because once I get disappointed about a certain place I don't want to experience what I went through the first time.Perhaps it was just a stroke of Bad Luck that I was dealt a really bad batch of Fried Chicken and I think I knew I was in trouble when the Plate that I ordered wasn't exactly what I initially asked for. I really wanted to like this place but I think it may be awhile before I make my trip back to Waipahu to satisfy my Fried Chicken Cravings. Especially here at Triple RT's

This is a late review but for graduation day, my daughter decided to have a drive by for family and friends that could not make it to the ceremony. So we decided on passing out bentos. Russell was awesome! He was able to acommodate my order in a short amount of notice. The food was delicious as well. Thank you! I will definitely be ordering from here again.

I used Triple RTs for two separate events-a conference and a memorial service. Both times they did an outstanding job. Excellent food, on time, and super service. I had many compliments and so many people asked me where I ordered the bentos from. You also can't beat their prices. I give them my highest recommendation!

Friendly staff and the food is sooo good! Will purchase food from them again! The food truck across the Waipahu Gym is usually there in the weekdays.

Just came from the Hoopili event where they gave $3 plates for first 33 customers and we were one of the lucky ones. Got 2 Lechon Kewali and 1 Garlic chicken. 3 stars for taste and extra star for the discount. Garlic chicken was good, can taste the garlic. The lechon tasted a lil old but the tomato/onion mix was fresh, crunchy & perfectly seasoned. Made up for the tough pork skins lol.

Find them in a yellow food truck parked outside of Waipahu district park. Simple menu. Generous portions. Kind tata manning the entire operation! We were given the options of rice, pancit, fried chicken and garlic chicken. Went with pancit, and 1/2 fried 1/2 garlic chicken. Pancit was a mix of canton and bihon noodles. Tasty! If I had to choose a chicken, I'd go garlic chicken but an extra side of garlic sauce. Plate was $10 even. Cash only. Will be back again!

Catered from RRRT's twice for funerals in 2021 (300+ bentos) and 2022 (200) bentos. 1. You will never find another Filipino food bento style. 2. Food is fulfilling and delicious3. Presentation was exceptional, This May Also depend on what you order.Latest bento choosing was pork guisantes, shrimp tempura and fried chicken; great combination for lunch. 4. 95% of communication with Russell was via text and 5% talking upon delivery of food---proved efficiency!5. Requested delivery and bento arrived as planned in time for lunch--proved dependable.Thank you RRRT's for being my families #1 choice for bentos.

Their garlic fried chicken is awesome. Also when placing catering order they are quick to respond and usually are able to accommodate even when they are really busy.

Highly disappointed...highly.. first impressions are lasting impressions. Today after months of seeing this lunchwagon that parks during the weekdays on Paiwa St (just fronting the Waipahu District Park and its parking lot), I asked my brother if he wanted to come with me to go try the foods at the Triple RTs Lunchwagon as I told him that they were famous for their fried chicken according to social media. We got there about 10:40am (they open at 10:30am) and parked directly in front of the lunchwagon in the park's parking lot. Told the older man that this was our first time, so he began a very nice chat with us. He said there is no menu but that he sells fried chicken, garlic chicken and pork guisantes. I ask him those are the only items he sells and he said yes. The cost of these plate lunches were $10 and included all rice, 1/2 rice and 1/2 pancit, or all pancit. He went on to chit chat with me all during the transaction, and said that the most important thing is to listen to what the customers want...and that is why he has just the three entrees: fried chicken, garlic chicken and pork guisantes. Both of us told him if we could get a mix plate and he said yes...I said even all three? and he said yes...He asked what starch we all wanted, and said let's go half and half on the rice and noodles. Don't know why he didn't say pancit, but I should know what pancit is. Talked so more, and now finally there is an older retiree standing behind us listening in to our conversation and agreeing with the owner's comments as to where 'else can you get a plate like mine at $10?' Anyway, before he closed the plate he showed me the portions he placed in the plate before closing the lid and putting our plates into a plastic bag. $10 straight, so gave him $20. He thanked us and said he knows he'd see us again. ok, brought my plate home and opened the plate...now I was saying hmm. the chicken all looked alike ... didn't look like he added both garlic and fried chicken along with the pork guisantes. It looked darker than normal so I was thinking he provided me with the garlic chicken...chicken pieces were quite small (really---not after seeing a photo of someone else's fried chicken plate photo taken from 2 years ago) ... counted about 7 broken pieces of thighs (the size of a thigh like that sold in Gold Leaf 5 lb boxes at grocery stores ---which were small... i mean, like I never saw frozen thighs *that small*). The styrofoam plates are divided into three sections, two small and one large. The small section included rice, and in the other small section was the pork guisantes. The large section was layered with pancit, pancit canton to be exact (thicker noodles) and with the small chicken pieces laid on top of the pancit. Bit into the chicken pieces...they were all fried chicken (a few with bones)...no garlic chicken pieces.. not greasy but NO flavor... how could this be ? A BIG letdown... As for the pork guisantes, it was flavorful with pimentos and bay leaves ... sorry to say better tasting then the fried chicken, but not at the top of my list of pork guisantes i've tasted over the years. It needs some 'bite'...tastes smooth/balanced as they say...but I was looking for a little more oomph in flavor ! The rice was cooked well (well since we were early) so not overcooked in anyway. The pancit canton was the star of the meal even though I did not taste any morsels of beef, pork or chicken....but with whatever items they had to make it, it was tasty ! On a scale of 1 to 5 stars with 5 stars being excellent: fried chicken: 3 (meh) pork guisantes: 3.75 pancit canton: 5 rice: 5 So to summarize: - all the plate lunches cost $10 straight (so that would come out to $9.55 plus 4.712% tax). - only offers: pork guisantes, fried chicken and garlic chicken. - all rice, half rice and half pancit, or all pancit (canton) - very friendly person/engaging to talk ! I really wanted to taste the garlic chicken and I think because we were talking too much to him and he talking too much to us, he f
