First time here and I orderd the Chuck Wagon burger and my wife had the tenderloin. The burger was just average but the tenderloin was very good.

Our favortive breakfast stop when we're blasting across I80. Right off the interstate, easy to get in and out. Service is always fantastic. Food is hot, fresh and delicious! Love that breakfast burrito!

Once I heard The Chuckwagon was nominated for Iowa's Best Burger 2024, I had to try it. I ordered the Chuckwagon burger with fries. The burger was perfectly cooked and offered a literal flavor explosion on the first bite! The fries were seasoned and definitely an awesome addition to the meal.The thing that sets The Chuckwagon apart from any other Iowa's Best Burger 2024 nominee would have to be their superior service! The restaurant was absolutely packed at lunch today and I could not imagine any better service. Salli and all other staff handled the rush very well. I was in and out and back on the road within 30 minutes. Thanks again for having me, I will be returning.

One of Iowa’s best burgers. Actually this one maybe should be the winner. The Garlic Cheese balls were also excellent. Plus they have many other options on the menu. Definitely worth a visit.

Best burger? How when you can’t even cook it less than well done? There was nothing special here after knowing about this place for years and never being in the area until recent. So glad I didn’t go out of my way and was passing through. It wasn’t bad, just not memorable and pricey for the quality.

Stopped here to try the tenderloin and was not disappointed. It was amazing! Best not I have had in a very very long time. Hand breaded deliciousness. I ordered the fries as my side and they were also fantastic. Smaller cut but not shoe string size, fried nice and crispy and full of flavor! Service was great. Everything was clean including the bathroom. I will definitely stop here again when I go this direction!

We had one of the best meals at the Chuckwagon Restaurant. My husband had the Hot Beef and Mashed Potatoes and I had the Fish Sandwich with Coleslaw .....both of our meals were awesome!!! And the coleslaw was the best I have ever tasted. Food was served fast and the server was great and asked multiple times how we are and if we needed anything or dessert - which we said no to as the meals alone were very filling !!!! And they also took our payment from the table which saved time instead of waiting up by the cash register. Everyone needs to try this restaurant out!!

The only thing I crave to eat when in Iowa is a pork tenderloin sandwich. Something about how this state makes their Pork Tenderloin sandwich always gets me in my feels (belly). Something about how the tenderloin is too big for them buns.... How the tenderloin has a crunchy outside and a soft, succulent inside. And the Chuckwagon's tenderloin sandwich delivered the goods. It was love at first bite. Get a mouth full of this tenderoni is like having a mouth full of the Iowa seeds of love. You will enjoy this sandwich as much as your greatest passion. Just don't expect the same for the fries. Fries are like your girlfriend's step sister that likes to watch you two..... Bland with no life. Oh BTW, the service was awesome here too. Before you leave, make sure to check out the men's restroom. They have a keg for a urinal.

In this day and age of Sysco food delivery this Place is NOT THAT. Great food that has flavor and well worth the time to stop in and eat. I only wish I lived closer so I could take advantage more often. Cheese balls are uniquely different shapes so makes me think they are made on site. Stop in and enjoy wonderful atmosphere.

This place is absolutely amazing! Right off I-80, we went for breakfast. The hash-browns are the best I've ever had and the pancakes are delicious! They also sell lovely candles right at the door! The service was also great!
