Stopped here on a trip from west to east and was encouraged by the high reviews. I ordered the pork loin sandwich and the woman who made it used her bare hands to get the pickles out of the container and put them on my sandwich, which is a health violation. I asked about their chicken salads and was told that they are not made in the restaurant, they buy them at the grocery store and serve them as-is. From the reviews, I expected hole-in-the-wall hidden gem but it seems like all this place does is buy food from the grocery store and throw in a box or the fryer before handing it to you.

Great little locally owned Dairy Sweet. Had a wonderful chocolate malt. Has a fairly extensive menu for such a small place. I will definitely be back.

As a kid I’d come here every summer on my way to camp. Now, nearly 50 … we still stop when we drive through. It may be a little ‘rustic’ but it’s honestly perfect! And THE BEST ice cream ? and burgers ? !!!

So glad I just happened to find this place.
My husband just randomly got off the interstate to find a place to park for a bit and I spotted this gem across the street.
Best dang milkshake I've gotten in the country. We are over the road truckers and I've had plenty of subpar shakes compared to this one.
I saved the location in my maps and am actually gonna stop in today for lunch.
I'm gonna try the food this time so I'll update to give my opinion. I'd say it'll be just as good as the shake was.
BTW the little fellers helping out at the family shop was a treat to see. Good job momma, raising them little men to be hard working and respectful.

At least rhe French fries and soda was good. Unfortunate, the cheeseburger fell short. I'll pass on by on this place next time. I had to find another restaurant to satisfy my appetite.

Parking: There's open parking.

My wife and I stopped for our first visit last evening. Great atmosphere, great service, and some of the richest, creamy ice cream we’ve ever had. We will be back😛 Oh, and very good prices to😀

Shirley, owner since 1976 makes a really juicy traditional hamburger, best we've had in forever. Ended it with a tasty soft serve twist cone and a butterfinger tornado. Classic small diner we liked it so much we bought a t-shirt, which is rare for us, but you find something you really like it's nice to remember it.
