9th Street Bakery did my daughters first birthday smash cake.
It was beautiful, moist, tasted so amazing and decorated so beautifully. I will be continuing to utilize her in the future. ❤️♥️

Fantastic from top to bottom. Pastries, cookies, cakes; you name it, they do it! Not to mention, they’re all extremely friendly and a great representation of what this beautiful community is all about. As for the quality, you won’t find better anywhere else. When I tell you that you can taste the brilliance and care in every bite of their creations, I mean it. What an absolute gem to have in Adel.

Fantastic little bakery, walking distance from the downtown square and definitely worth the short drive from Waukee. Got some delicious wheat bread and sweets, can't wait to go back for sticky buns. The owners / staff are super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. 🩷

Can’t ask for a better sweet spot to pick up fresh bread, hot from the oven pie and the best dang donuts! Don’t get me started about their cinnamon rolls 🤤

I was recently in the hospital for 17 days and wanted to do something nice for the hospital staff on the day I was released. My husband contacted 9th Street Bakery to inquire about making a bunch of baked goods. Once we heard back from them, we knew this was the bakery that we wanted to use. They were so kind to work with and went above and beyond in every way. They delivered the baked goods to the hospital for us for free and made sure that every shift had plenty of delicious treats! We received sooooo many thank yous from the nurses and staff about how good everything was. I didn't get to try any of the goods, but I have no doubt that everything was delicious. Excited to continue to support this bakery in the future. Thank you for helping us support the medical staff at Methodist West!!

Wow! I ordered two pies for a BBQ I was having. Not only were the pies A-MAZ-IMG, but the owner was extremely understanding when I had to move my pick-up time. I also left with two of the next donuts I've had in a long time. Love this place!

To encounter this superb caliber bakery in the MOST quaint and beautiful setting was the BEST part of our stay in Adel. From the garden vegetables & flowers strategically planted and growing on the pathway leading to the front door to the beautiful display of sourdoughs & pies that greet customers, this bakery is nothing short of a New York City classic. I will return - and so should everyone within driving distance. Kudos to ALL who create and offer this deliciousness on a daily basis! Don’t hesitate.

My sister-in-law and I ordered a Mother’s Day cake for her mom and it was spectacular! She loved it, the roses on top were gorgeous!! 100% recommend stopping in for a treat or ordering for any occasion

Stopped by on a whim. So glad I did. Ended up leaving with some great doughnuts, a couple of the best lemon bars... EVER! And, yes, do the chocolate drizzle on the cinnamon rolls. I wish I had opened the boxes for a picture now, but you can let your imagination run, and it will come up short.
