Coming back from the Rail ride in Boone saw this place. We were thrilled with our ice cream. I got the Cherry Chocolate amaretto and my husband got Carmel popcorn! Yummy!! Can’t wait to come back again!!

Yumm yumm in my tum tums, good ice cream but they really need to pay attention to the orders. Two times we were very specific about the flavor for the ice cream and two times they kept giving us vanilla. We ordered Banana Split with the mix of chocolate, mix and vanilla and still got vanilla. Last time we ordered Brownie sundae with one of the specialty ice cream flavors and still got vanilla… Not sure how else we need to communicate. Still, glad to have them so close in Adel!

This little ice cream shop is everything a neighborhood spot should be—affordable, welcoming, and delicious. The prices are more than fair (a rare treat these days!), which means I can actually treat the whole family without wincing at the total.
The staff is always friendly and patient—even when we’re being those people who can’t decide between cookie dough and birthday cake.
A most stop every time we are in town.

Extremely disappointed that this ice cream shop doesn’t offer a Dari free option at all times. When there is 15 ice cream choices in the freezer, I don’t think it’s too much to ask to have one of them be a sherbet consistently. It’s so hard when you have a child who is dairy free, but have siblings who want to go out for ice cream and you have to tell them that there’s nothing there for them.

Everyone here is super friendly and always working hard. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait because they are always so busy (but it's worth it!). A great variety of treats on their list and they are priced very fairly. While you wait, you can sit in the patio seating area in front of the store and let your kids harass passing semi drivers to honk at them! Awesome little establishment! 😍

Thank you to the two young ladies for filling my water bottles. On September 13th I was riding the Raccoon River Valley Trail adjacent to your shop. I was 71 miles into an 82 mile day and had run out of water (the last several trailheads I passed did not have water available) Hopefully the kindness your employees demonstrated and I’m sharing will make up for me buying food. The treats I saw others eating looked great…….just not when I’m hot and exhausted.
Had tacos great especially for the price. Large malt as well very tasty and well worth the price. Had a steady flow of customers and all were served very timely. Staff was exceptionally professional and speedy presenting completed orders.. Will definitely be a return customer.

I took a chance ordering food at an ice cream shop. Not having high expectations, I was impressed with the beef burger. Good portion, not too little or too much. The bun was fresh, and it reminded me of a Maid Rite from when I was a kid. Worth a stop for the beef burger, but grab some ice cream too (good value for what you get).

A must stop when it's open in Adel! A whole-in-the-wall ice cream parlor with great ice cream and a food menu big enough to handle most picky kids. It's right on US 169, making it hard to miss, but it can cause the limited outdoor seating to be noisy. It also has an indoor counter where it's cool, quiet, and has a view of the ice cream.
