I just want to thank Jenna at the bakery. With everything that went on last year, Lennox’s illness and COVID. I was unable to make it to see my granddaughter Esme’s on her birthday. I called the bakery to order a cake. I asked if they had balloons. Jenna said no but she would go to Dollar General and get her some. I was so touched that she would do this for a stranger.

As everyone knows that my Granddaughter Lennox Craig wo as diagnosed with Leukemia last year. I wanted to make Esme fell special with all that was going on.
I personally know what it is like to be torn between one child and the other as my son was also sick he had cancer at the same age as Lennox.
Jenna did a very amazing thing to make Esme’s birthday special. The cake was perfect!! Esme loved the balloons. She also went one step further and bought birthday decorations to help make her day even better.
Words and tears cannot say thank you enough. When all of this craziness is over. I wish to meet you to thank you In person for the kindness you showed to my granddaughter Esme.

Everything is awesome except for the pork. In the past 3 months i have bought pork chops from hyvee here. The first time i opened the package the smell almost knocked me out. I tossed it, moved on. A few days before thanksgiving i bought 2 more packages. Rancid awful smell. I returned them to hyvee and traded them out immediately. Went home and same... rancid smell. I went back to the store and opened the packages right there in the meat dept. They all had to be thrown out th

My husband and I recently bought a place in Albia and have been to this store several times. We've been in different times of day, each time every employee was very friendly! It's great! We will actually be moving into the new place soon. As a Hy-Vee employee that has worked in Illinois store the last 16 and a half years, I'd like to say I'm very impressed!

Employees are great. Having a heck of a time adjusting to where everything is and very upset the only pharmacy in town closes on a Saturday p.m. at 3:00 pm now. Centerville stays open way later. They also have Walmart that is open even longer. Also upset prescriptions can only be partially filled. Deli prices too high and groceries too.

I have to say, I shopped at this store for the first time last week, as I live about an hour away, and my experience was PHENOMENAL! Every single employee in the store, without exception, went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly! I had my 2 year old and 4 week old infant, and my 4 week old was hungry and literally screamed the whole time I shopped!! Everyone offered assistance! I found everything I needed and they even carried out and loaded my groceries into my car! Great experience!! Thank you for all you do!!!
