Best true broasted chicken left in Iowa. For sale sign leaves us nervous that we will lose a classic. Stop by a small town bar and enjoy! Not a fancy place but clean. Price and food speaks for itself. People are friendly and service is better than most fancier chains. Support local.

Really wanted to like this place, it has a good downtown small town location near the schools. The smell of grease when you walk in is strong and of course you and your clothes smell of it until washed. Their thing is broasted (pressure fried) chicken which leads to pretty much broasted everything else. There is not a burger, grilled item or lettuce salad on the menu. The service was great, neat little bar, but that smell….
